Overpriced. Outdated.Posted Nov 28, 2015
First, in spite the fact that the hotel was not even half full, everyone was told that the rooms are not ready and takes about two hours to be ready but... A superior room is available but it costs 700€/night. Every time an upgrade is offered this usually is offered for free ot for a small fee, not for the full price as they do here. If you don't want to pay, you just wait. If you are hungry... Bad luck, the restaurant is closed for refurbisment...but you can sit in the lobby, where they can serve you something to eat at the unconfortabile tables, while you hear all the noise from the refurbishment works at the restaurant. The front desk personell becomes agressive when asked about checkin time. The rooms are big but the bathrooms are outdated and poory maintained. The design was modern 20 years ago but now needs to be fixed. The hotel does not deserves 5 stars. Not today. The most outrageous situation was that the front desk lady that checked me in took the passport and my credit card and made copies of them in a backroom ... After one week someone was using my card in US. Go figure!! I have filled a criminal complain and wait for the result.

Sehr elegantes erstklassiges Hotel.

Class actPosted Oct 28, 2015
Pros: the staff are very professional and interact in a graceful manner. The rooms are hip and set up nicely.
Location: the Spanish steps are a little walk away - great shopping! The spa is fantastic
The wait staff in the hotel bar area (Melinda specifically), were amazing. Just the right balance of professional and playful to make the dining experience memorable.

Decent facilities, Patchy Service and OverpricedPosted Oct 11, 2015
For a price of £350 a night one expects a certain level of service and attention to detail that was sadly lacking at this property. More surprising as having stayed with them in other countries it seems core to their brand but was conspicuous by its absence at their Rome property. Feel disappointed and let down.

Quality hotel close to the main shopping area.Posted Sep 30, 2015
Pros: For a city hotel its location is close to the main shopping, there are many attractions and sites within a short walking distance.
Cons: The main lounge whilst adjoining the bar is separated and staff do not always notice when you take your seats. Regular sweeps by bar staff would help.
Location: Close to the main shopping area. The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are a short walk away. Easy access to public transport.
This is a quality hotel with all the attributes that you would expect from a 5* hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was impeccably clean being cleaned twice daily. The facilities were fantastic with a very pleasant roof terrace and bar. The main bar and restaurant were excellent. Breakfast was a particularly pleasurable experience.

Staff very RUDEPosted Sep 19, 2015
Pros: The whole experience was jaded secondary to the inept staff
Cons: Fire the entire front desk and start over
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. The actual hotel is certainly adequate but the staff is rude and not helpful

Good location, room without a view.Posted Sep 16, 2015
Hotel is very nice and staff were most helpful. Room was internal with small window and quite dark. Food at rooftop restaurant was poor.
