good price very close to Colosseum

Pros: Location was great, on ground floor( no stairs to climb )
Cons: new paint in bathroom
Location: Easy walking distance to Colosseum and Forum. Main train station about 20 min walk or 3 bus stops away. San Giovanni Basilica also about 20 min walk
Other than paint peeling off wall in Bathroom room was good,had some issues on checkout - inquired if could have late check out was advise no. We had to go to train station to book train for later in day we advised we had no problem to go into room to start cleanup as would be back close to check out time. Communicating to staff on hand seemed to not to translate well, we had emailed owner as well. When we got back about 1/2 hour prior to check out found had cleaned room already no towels left for us to use after bathroom use. As room on ground floor we found windows wide open, which anyone could of easily climbed in and out with in 30 seconds to take camera ( and pictures of trip to date ) as well as iPad which we had left charging. When tried to relay concern again language was issue and was told was ok to do what he had. When we emailed to owner our concern was told her staff know what they were doing and if they said no issue would be none?? A disapointing end to our stay

Thanks for the review! The staff who cleans the rooms on the first floor opens the windows to change the air every morning and nobody entered the room, or steal anything! Also the staff is always present and before leaving the room, the windows are closed! Hopefully see you soon!

This is not a hotel as such

Location: Central location for coliseum , forum
This is inbetween a b&b and a hostel. I thought I was booking a small hotel but would not class it as That at all. This is one floor of a building split into 4 rooms. Reception is a desk in the hallway Extra charge for check in at 6.30 Reception desk only manned for couple of hours in the morning Breakfast is not served in a dining room but is toast and fruit you help yourselve to from a small communal cupboard, or a pre wrapped croissant in your room. There is a kettle in the room but no fridge for milk, so you have to go to the communal fridge for milk , if you have been out and bought it !! There is a coffee machine , toaster and shared fridge in this cupboard. You help yourselves to things like toilet rolls etc also from this cupboard. Very little hot water unless you were first up at 7-7.30 Bath and basin pop up wastes did not pop up. Had a shallow bath one night and could not release waste to get rid of water, so next morning had to use mugs to empty bath to then reuse bath. Tv but no English speaking channels Good size rooms but bathrooms very tired and need replacing

Convenient and clean!!

Super cute, clean and felt safe. Caterina is amazing, she is very easy to get a hold of and helped us arrange transportation to and from the airport. She also supplied maps and recommendations for restaurants in our area as well as the city center. We could see the colosseum from our room. Very close to the colosseum, a few minute walk through a park.

Excellent location and quiet location!!

This was a perfect place to stay for location, quiet and we felt safe with the security. Staff were really helpful with anything or booking taxi's etc. Thank you!

Good room but bad breakfast

The room is nice, spacious and clean, so as the bath room. Only the shower is a bit weird as the water seems can never spray precisely on your body (LOL but true). Hotel manager and staff are friendly to introduce us the nearby good restaurant and best access to the attractions, very helpful. Well the con is : the breakfast is quite disappointing - i don't mind it's a pantry but not a breakfast room, but with spoiled fruits and bread in broken bags for days (I spent 4 nights) are really not up to standard. Luckily the coffee machine is still functioning well. If the breakfast can improve significantly, I would have no doubt to recommend this hotel.

They send an email asking about my arriving I said 12pm. I got delay because of my train from Venice and then try to find the hotel. I got charge €20 for late check in. I got there at 4pm. They ask me why I didn't get in touch with them to let them know? Well because my phone is on airplane mode. Long distance calls and roaming are expensive outside of the U.S. The shower head is on the oposite side of the bathtub so the water faucet is behind your butt and you ending splashing the wall.
