We stayed for one night prior to our flights home. We chose the hotel because of it's relative proximity to Ciampino Airport.
We had spent a few days in the middle of Rome and it was nice to get out into the hills surrounding the city. The area around the hotel is mainly residential, but it's a pleasant area.
We walked up from Frascati Station which I wouldn't recommend, and the hotel do offer a shuttle service to and from the station.
The hotel was bigger than we were expecting and has lots of outside space.
We didn't eat at the on site restaurant but wandered down the road to a local restaurant which offered some very nice Italian food, as you'd expect. We did have a drink when we got back to the hotel and they are reasonably priced.
The only downsides to our stay were firstly the air conditioning wasn't great in our room, and I woke up at 2am feeling a bit clammy. Only by opening the windows and racking up the air con were we able to get the temperature down. Secondly, we ordered a taxi to the airport via the front desk as it was quite an early flight. The taxi was nearly $10 more expensive than if we'd ordered one from the middle of Rome despite the hotel being only 5 miles from the airport.
Overall, I'd fully recommend this hotel for anyone who is planning a trip to Rome but wants to get away from the hurly burly of the city at the end of the day.
The hotel itself is nice and looks like it’s had some updating but not to a very good standard. Still lots of finishing touches to be done. We turned up for breakfast at 9 am and everything was gone even though they serve until 9.30am and we had to ask for some food and bowls etc then had to sit at a dirty table even though we were paying customers. Some Staff (not all) just didn’t care. You definitely need a car here, the taxi booked by the hotel to the airport was very expensive at 60 euros and only took 15 mins, that was to the closest airport I feel we got ripped off. So not happy about that. Would not return.
A beautiful little place with really helpful and friendly staff. I was caught a bit by how far it was from Rome, but wasy enough to catch public transport in and there is a shuttle service to and from the train station. Very convenient if you are using the Ciampino airport

We are really glad to have hosted you.
Thank you for being with us, we really hope to have you back here again very soon!
Best regards
you need drive about 20 minutes to metro red line, the end of the station called Anagning, there we waited for parking because the parking lot was full, one car out, one car in. One time I waited for 25 minutes when i got there about 9:45 am. The parking fee is reasonable, less than 10 hours is 1.50 euro, more than 10 hours is 2.5 euro. which is a good thing.
This hotel was lovely.Beautiful surroundings and a definite setting for a wedding of which there were 2 whilst we were there hence reason for Godfather ( film) reference. Unlike other reviews we never felt excluded and it did enhance our experience. Some of the fixtures inside were a little tired but again this did not detract and again enhanced our experience. Warm friendly staff always helpful and attentive to your needs. Free Shuttle bus a big bonus to get to the station as about 30 mins away from centre of Rome by train. A very pleasant stay in a very pleasant hotel.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly as we were stranded in the middle of nowhere and although it was late they sent their shuttle to pick us up immediately which was really a relief!
The interior design is very classy and the food excellent. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. Really good hotel but a little difficult to reach, call for their shuttle ahead! ;)
We had this place all to our selves for most of our stay. It was a very beautiful Villa in a great location away from the inner city of Rome. The staff was amazing and the food was very good and very affordable. It is a bit of a distance from the airport and the city but that is exactly what we wanted. Just make sure you plan your transportation. The rooms are a little small but once again we knew this before booking and it was what we needed. We were only using it to sleep because we had so many things planned. I can not say enough about the staff they were so friendly and helpful at all hours of the day or night.
Our stay was wonderful! We arrived extrememly late. but the receptionist was awesome! so welcoming!!! The hotel is so beautiful. I would recommend to everyone.
Great stay staff very helpful good level of Engish spoken. Room good size no issues plenty of car parking space, lovely gardens. Close to Train station in Frascati hotel has shuttle bus for this. Great if you have a car as a base. Very good value for money.
beautiful park-like setting. convenient for Ciampino airport. Beds may be too short for someone over 6 feet; bathrooms were a little cramped. restaurant was average. Breakfast was limited.
The hotel is breath taking. The city is beautiful. They should find an easier way to locate the hotel because it took us over 3 hours once in the city to finally have a valet chauffeur to physically drive us to the hotel. The address did not exist for the GPS.
As for the room the only downfall was that the walls are paper thin. WE were very tired and could not sleep because of the noise from the water pipes, coughing, could hear the neighbors doing their business, bottles and canes tumbling on the floor outside because they were cleaning up from the wedding that weekend.
The staff was very helpful and spoke fluent English and some French.
I usually never write reviews, but this hotel deserves it. The staff were really friendly; nothing was too much for them, the hotel itself in a beautiful setting and the room was always immaculate. Breakfast was a continetal buffet, and it was superb.
The only downside is that the hotel is actually based in Grottaferreta, a town outside of Rome. However the hotel do provide a shuttle service (Free of charge) which will leave you and pick you up at the local station should you need to visit the Eternal city. (The actual town the hotel is situated is just as beautiful.) Personally it was a plus, as you were able to unwind in a relaxing atmosphere after a hectic city bustle.
Overall it was the most relaxing stay I've had, and I've stayed in 4 star hotels in London and Singapore to state a few.

Nice traditional hotel
Pretty hotel in lovely grounds, basic continental breakfast, evening meal for 20 euros reasonable value for money
Loved this hotel. Suggest dinner at other locations in neighbourhood as they were cheaper with better food. We stayed an extra night as we enjoyed Roma so much and hotel was convenient and comfortable.
My wife and I live in the usa and we decided to visit italy so I went on Line and I start looking around so I so the hotel threw the pictures and I also read the review so we decided to go for it . When we went there we found out that the hotel is way far away from the air port so we called the hotel and they were very helpful the directed us to the easiest way to get to the hotel and when we went there they were so nice to us and they helped us with everything starting by how to have a good time in italy till how to forget about you love far from Rome we really had a great time I do recommend this hotel and if we ever decided to go back to italy we will definitely going to stay there
Very quiet and beautiful park hotel, specialy designed for weddings and celebrating events, pleasant staff...

Nice hotel, dominated by weddings
Hotel is quite nice. The staff are ok. Many of the facilities listed on Expedia weren't in my room/available, eg, no balcony, bathrobes, mini bar, newspaper, yoga classes. 2 of the days there was a wedding at the poolside so you couldn't use the pool. The breakfast is a bit basic, there is no fresh fruit.

Somewhat satisfied
The external architecture of the hotel is pretty. The room was ok. The bathroom was too cramped and narrow. The shower was extremely small and drainage was horrible. Internet does not work in the rooms, you have to go to the main lobby to get wifi. The free shuttle was convenient only during the week, Even though one day there was a miscommunication with the receptionist and we had to wait 1 extra hour in the center of Frascati. My sister is fluent in Italian so it wasn't a language barrier problem, the problem was the receptionist incompetence. If you are planning to check out during the weekend plan to pay 60 euros to go to the nearest airport because the free shuttle from the hotel is not in service until late morning.
Rooms look tired and tatty. Old fashioned decoration, dirty in places that are difficult to clean in bathroom. Staff on the reception didn't pass on messages between shifts, left waiting for a courtesy bus, ordered but didn't turn up in nearby town late at night. Food choices limited for people like us with a vegetarian diet. English not spoken well by all the reception staff. The kitchen staff were professional and the best of the bunch, but the kitchen appears to be geared up to provide the set menu. This hotel is for weddings and coach parties. It's traditional and not modern in any way. Lastly when we were there the pool was closed, I'm sure it would have been too cold to swim but might have been nice to sit around. And it is featured in the photos. But the whole area was full of tools and workmen.
This hotel is an outstanding bargain. The room was very large, nicely furnished and with a great marble bathroom. The grounds are elegant. The free shuttle service drivers and the front desk staff are welcoming and helpful. From the hotel it is easy to get into Rome in about 30 minutes by train or to surrounding villages such as Castle Gondolfo, which is well worth a visit for the views and the food. Train and bus fares are very inexpensive....2 to 4 Euros will get you anywhere in the Rome region. The breakfast buffet is basic, but adequate. Overall, we were thrilled with our stay.
Great hotel to commute to Rome. Staff very helpful
We were 3 families and the pool is ornamental
Not useable at all.
The hotel grounds are fantastic but geared up to the fab weddings they host
We did get shuttled to near by private pool but were charged €13 entry each which made days out costly for families
This hotel is beautiful outside, the lawns are exceptional and the location is about 30 minutes from Rome (car). It was very easy to go in and out of the city (GPS). The rooms are outdated, small but quaint. If your are not planning on staying in the room all day and just a night for sleeping it is great especially for the price. The internet worked well and the breakfast was good (croissants, fruit, yogurt, coffee...the basics).
I found the reception and domestic staff quite polite and helpful.
The hotel is quite a distance from central Rome (had to take the shuttle bus) to Frascati station then a 30mins train ride to Rome.
The pool was always cold which wasnt very condusive even for the hot weather.
Breakfast was poor - (cold 'buffet') 1 selection of cold meat and cheese, criossant, bread roll, tea and coffee and 1 type of sugary juice every morning.
On the other hand the hotel is placed on very spacious and well kept grounds but apart from the cold pool, there's nothing else to do.

A beautiful hotel
Peaceful, lovely surroundings. The swimming pool and gardens are very well kept and we enjoyed our stay here.Note that the telephone number on the hotel page on this site is incorrect. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good.
Dear Guest,
thank you for your review and congratulations.
We are glad that your stay here was pleasant, and we hope to have you back in the future.
Best regards
Un finto 3 stelle. Esperienza terribile. Ristorante pessimo.
