Walkable to the train station and to the sites however they are some distance (if you not used to walking 15,000 steps a day this is not the place for you, However taxi and public transportation is near by to take you to the sites). Upon arrival staff helpful but never saw him in person after that he was accessible by text and responded to questions quickly. Breakfast was assorted bread and fruit that was provided in a box, there was also cold cereal, juice and a coffee machine available 24/7. Interesting place to stay. Hotel was on the top 1/2 of a building - 6 rooms with a common area for reception and breakfast. Very comfortable bed, however the rooms floor needed some repairs. All in all we enjoyed our stay!!

My husband, daughter and I all shared a room. It was convenient to get here from Roma termini. We stayed for 3 days and walked everywhere! It is super close to the Colosseum, Vittoriano, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain. There were many good restaurants and cafes on the same blocks. The check in and check out process was very easy. The owner and housekeeping were happy to help answer any questions we had. Literally, everything was easy and made our trip as tourists stress free. Next time we are in Rome, we will be staying here again!

Good service, easy check in and overall pretty clean, but some areas of the room could use some maintenance (shower seals were broken and the flooring was in bad shape from the air conditioner leaking). Beds were comfy!

We had such a wonderful stay here. The staff was so friendly, and helped us get to know the area. The location was perfect! Restaurants, cafes and historical sites were all within walking distance.

Overall the location was good and staff was friendly however the room itself isn’t the typical hotel type. Once we arrived the smell of detergent was overwhelming and later that day my daughter ( not usually sensitive or allergic to much ) began to have rashes on her leg. She proceeded to sleep in leggings and hoodie for the rest of the stay. Close to everything sightseeing wise. Just beware of the conditions inside the room.

Guglielmo was wonderful and so helpful at check in. The rooms were gorgeous and very neat and clean with beautiful views. The hotel is in a great area with so much near it. Would stay again for sure.

Perfect for a weekend in Rome, location was great we walked everywhere, it's a short walk from the station so great for getting to and from the airport. The staff were all really helpful in recommending places to go and theres a great gelato shop a few doors away. Another reviewer mentioned difficulty finding the hotel, im so glad we looked on Google maps before getting there as would have struggled as we arrived late at night. The room was lovely the view was fantastic. Definitely recommend

The biggest perk of this property is how close it is to so many major attractions. The property itself is well-maintained, however, it’s old - for example, the floors bowed underfoot akin to wood rot. I loved that the windows fully opened and I could just sit at the windowsill and enjoy the views. We were skeptical to stay in the room directly behind reception, but it was quiet throughout the day and night. Staff was friendly and accommodating. They also served a breakfast box with croissants and mixed pastries and had a small coffee maker and snacks on site.

Great stay in a hidden gem.
Hotel very central. Amazing views of the Basilica. Spotlessly clean. Great coffee available 24/7 and an adequate breakfast box delivered each morning at 8am. The hotel is staffed 8-4 but clear arrival instructions were sent for our late arrival. Staff were superb, very helpful and knowledgeable. The building is not the most attractive and the hotel is on the 5th floor, reached by a rickety old lift but once inside it was bliss. Very quiet at night and we slept like babies after long days exploring the beautiful city.

Just a one night stay for us, extremely happy with our choice, I tried to rebook for a couple of weeks later too on our way back through Rome but unfortunately no availability for those days, staff were very responsive to our emails, arranged a car to collect us from the airport and check in was wonderful. The property is in a very short walking distance to Termini station and we felt very safe in the area, the restaurant Beatricia recommended for dinner was very very nice, just what we needed.

Good location
Good location to walk to the main sights of Rome and also very near the main train station. We had an issue checking in as our flight was delayed and we thought front desk hours were only 8:30am-2:30pm as nobody answered the doorbell or phone. It was resolved and we were provided all of the instructions to enter when we returned later in the evening. We did have to walk around Rome with our luggage that afternoon which was not ideal. I would warn future guests to double check with the hotel your arrival time / how to enter. The hotel was nice and we had a good stay otherwise. Breakfast comes in a box with many pastries. There is a good coffee machine and snacks available 24 hours in the lobby.

A small hotel in a very convenient location (several minutes walk from Termini and Repubblica stations). Very friendly staff. Breakfast offered in the morning and snacks/coffee all day. Has A/C for the hot days.

Rafael, the person in charge of the front desk was really kind and friendly, we stayed for 4 nights, the bed and sheets were good and every day the housekeeping did and excellent job, the hotel is in a good location; 15 minutes to coliseum 10 min to Trevi fountain, 12 minutes to the Spanish steps…. And if you get there by train it’s about 8 minutes away!! The room doesn’t have Iron but if you requested Rafael will let you borrow it. If I come back to Rome I will get back here for sure!!!

Real treasure in Rome!
Beautiful room with very comfortable bed, stunning view and everything you need. I highly recommend this hotel! Superb location close to main train station, right next to the Santa Maria basilica, and within easy walking distance to all the main sites.

Great location
Very good location, walking distance to ancient Rome. They were very helpful with calling taxi's for our group of six for longer trips. Also left a note in our room one night with 10 euros left under a table in the reception area by one of our group.

Very happy with our stay in Rome at Relais la Maison, definitely booking here again next time we visit. Everything worked great for me and my husband, our room was cleaned daily, bed was very comfortable, and there were also some snacks and coffee to grab for a quick bite. It has a good location just a few blocks away from Termini station if you wanna take the train, but we could also just walk everywhere. Staff was always happy to help us and they were all very nice.

Lage des Hotels optimal. Zimmergrösse und Aussicht (501) sehr gut. Frühstück ausreichend und gut. Getränke kalt und warm ganztägig immer vorhanden. Duschstrahl im Bad könnte etwas stärker sein. Ich war mit Frau und Enkel 5 Tage im Hotel und uns hat es allen gefallen.

Es un lugar agradable con habitaciones amplias y excelentes vistas a la ciudad. A unos minutos a pie de la estación Termini. La limpieza es inmejorable. Recibes cada día un desayuno completo en cajas selladas e individuales, el resto del tiempo hay café disponible, jugos y dulces. Lo recomiendo. Gracias!

Incredible estadía
Increible estadia; el lugar estaba muy limpio. La atencion insuperable; ademas el desayuno fuera de serie y muy surtido. Tan bien estuvo que en unos dias regreso a Roma y me quedo en el mismo sitio.
