Quiet comfort in Central Rome
Loved this place - people were kind and helpful and the room was clean and cozy, with its own luxurious bathroom and small fridge with coffee and tea for a casual breakfast. We loved the peace and security and central location!

Location, location, location!
We enjoyed a fine stay at Residenza Domizia. The location was perfect! Our spotless room was comfortable, and the larger bathroom was a plus. My only criticism is the lack of a reception area. Since our cell phones did not work in Italy, we had a difficult time getting in to the building as everything was done by phone and text message. Irena was very helpful, and I would stay here any time I was visiting Rome.

I have stayed here four times before COVID deterred me from going to Italy. Returning now I was not disappointed. The hospitality was warm and generous. The room was clean and adequate. The pensione is located where it is quiet at night but close to the action during the day.

Beautiful rooms and incredible service. They were so helpful and knowledgeable. The location was close to every major attraction in Rome and we walked everywhere. Very central location. Rooms are very clean, and we even had a working mini fridge, coffee, soaps and other amenities in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and if I ever visit Rome again, I will definitely be staying here.

It’s a family owned business run by two sisters. You could not be closer to the heart of the old city and Pantheon and Piazza Navonna Its an authentic roman townhouse with beautiful brick ceilings. The two sisters went above and beyond to help us in every way- so lovely and welcoming. Strongly recommend and such a reasonable price so you cam spend more on shopping in all the beautiful Italian stores lining the streets. Only tiny issue is that there is no elevator as this an 19th century building.

I chose to use Expedia again this year because of this property. Because of its location (there is no auto traffic on the street) it is quiet at night. But it is very close to Piazza Navona and the center of Rome. The personnel couldn't be nicer. It's simple--not the American Marriott--but I am not interested in spending much time n my room except to rest and sleep.

No warm water
There was no warm water in the shower, guess you can bathe in the sink. Told front desk twice and they said they would call someone. Cleaning staff woke me up everymorenong around 9am chatting and making a lot of noise.. location is great and room was exactly shown like pictures. Don't expect to get anyone to answer the phone if you need anything.

Good price and location
Breakfast is not served at the hotel, and they do not warn you here. In fact, you have to walk about 500 meters and have breakfast in a cafe that they have partnered with. This is not at all pleasant for the traveler. Most of the time there is no one at the desk or to assist us in case of an emergency. The first day I forgot the keys inside the room, I realized as soon as I closed the door, I went to the reception and there was nobody. I left and came back a few hours later, there was no one either, but the maid found the keys and left them in an envelope on the table.

Lovely, but ask for the right room.
It was lovely and clean. It was quite hot with just a fan in the room, so I had trouble sleeping, even though the main area was air-conditioned. The only thing I would note was my room, I think it was called via venetto, was right off the kitchen/entrance with a very flimsy door. It let the light in from the kitchen all night and I suspect noise as well, though I didn't see any. I would stay at the hotel, but ask for a different room!

We were very comfortable. We checked in after hours and they gave excellent instructions on how to access our apartment. The room we stayed in had it's quirks, but we loved the charm of the building and the character of the place. This is within walking distance of Vatican City and the Pantheon.

Fantastic central location at a really good price.
The location couldn't be better. Small, quaint hotel on a narrow street near the Piazza Navona. The hotel simply consisted of a few rooms with a reception area. There was no restaurant but breakfast vouchers were provided for a nearby coffee shop which offered cakes and pastries as well as coffee and fruit juice. The rooms were adequately furnished and the location was quiet at night despite being so central. I would definitely stay here again. Great value for money

Great Location!
The information surrounding how you check in was not clear - thankfully I had printed a copy of the email. Although it says you need to call ahead I unfortunately missed this piece of information due to the singular mention of it. Thankfully I had a phone with me and called the owner who was very lovely and spoke great English and helped me to check in! We had also received a free upgrade which was lovely and unexpected. The breakfast is available at a local cafe where the staff are so friendly and welcoming and is a great start to the day! Downside was the heating was on in some of the rooms - although the radiators were small when it's like 24 degrees outside and you're used to 10 degrees it wasn't ideal. We also asked for twin beds which weren't made up but the double bed instead. Me and my sister found a way to stay in the twin beds instead though. The hotel was a bit hard to find but on,y because we were expecting it to be more of an obvious hotel. It's two blocks of apartments on a quiet street very hidden with a simple plaque outside. Very secure with entrance using codes and keys. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to the Vatican and 10 minutes to the pantheon. The transport links are good so if you prefer buses there are plenty to use. Would 100% recommend this hotel - great location, amazing staff, secure. Although a few things could be fixed in the apartment (towel rail etc) which would only make it better!!

Fabulous location - would stay again
Overall we had a very pleasant experience and the location is just perfect. It's a no frills kind of place but it's clean and comfortable and we would stay here again. We only had one issue on arriving - there is no staff after 4.30pm we arrived at 10.30pm at night and they had forgotten to leave us instructions to where our room was - they have two buildings. I had to call the mobile number which luckily was on the bottom of an email to get directions. An easy admin mistake but it was a bit stressful.

Great location!
I loved staying here. The street it is located on is beautiful with many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is an apart-hotel so therefore fairly quiet. If you are looking for a regular hotel with many amenities and a 24 hour front desk this is not for you, but if you want a quiet room on a quaint cobblestone street to just sleep in- it's perfect. The staff were very helpful as well and cannot say a bad thing about my experience.

Central postion close to Vatican and castle
We were told about this hotel by a friend but unfortunately we did not get to stay in that particular one but another one in the group of 3 were not advised of this. We started off with one pillow for a double bed. The TV did not work when asked about we were offered another room but did not like the look of it. The toilet sear was loose and when we said some thing about it the hotel attendant said he had been trying to get the owners to fix it for some time

Convenient hotel close to many tourist sights
It's a simple guesthouse, with very basic facilities. Though our stay included breakfast, we could not have the breakfast at the hotel; but rather we had to walk 1-2 minutes to get to their designated cafes to use the breakfast coupons - we didn't mind this too much, but the breakfast only included a croissant, a cup of orange juice and a coffee... As for their staff, the guy at the evening shift was very friendly and helpful, but the other two in the morning were quite rude. They kept me waiting twice just to keep chatting...and that sort of offended me. (I'm not that difficult!) In our hotel room, there was 'disclaimer' warning us that they're not responsible for whatever that is been lost or stolen in the room, but when we actually asked them to keep some of our valuables at the desk, they laughed and told us: "Don't worry, it will be fine! Nothing like this has ever happened. Enjoy your room!" Well ok, you got us worried at first...

Solid Recommendation
We enjoyed our stay at this "guest house"/hotel. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean w/fresh towels and a towel warmer (!), modern facilities, but still in keeping with "Roma" style and the location was great as the taxi and bus area were right down the street and the proximity to a wonderful piazza, restaurants and shops couldn't be beat. The view from the windows was lacking as they overlooked the air conditioner, but that is something that couldn't be helped and the walls must be quite thin as we could hear a lot of noise from the next room (i.e. toilet flushing, t.v.), but on the whole, this was a great place to settle in for a few days.

Simple but perfectly placed
Comfortable, somewhat no frills (take your own toiletries), we were accommodated in the building opposite the main flat accessed by combination on street door and keys inside. The room was clean and cleaned daily (be careful what you leave out, a t-shirt and underwear were disposed of by the zealous cleaners!) A simple but satisfactory breakfast can be obtained from a choice of three charming coffee shops in the delightful Via dei Coronari. It's proximity to the historic centre makes it a value choice. If arriving late make sure you obtain the combination for the main building otherwise I'm not sure how you would obtain access. Similarly, if you forgot your combination or key outside of hours you might find yourself spending the night on a stone bench in the nearby Piazza Navona.

Cozy in Rome
We had a quiet, tiny room. I accidentally requested a double bed but only listed single occupancy, so my husband and i shared a very small squeaky bed, but otherwise everything was great. Perfect location. Being steps from Piazza Navona and a 2 minute stroll to Campo Di Fiore couldn't be beat.

Excellent location. Surprisingly quiet.
Television remote conbtgroller did not work after the first night, Even though I mentioned it at reception, I was merely told that they knew it was broiken but it was not fixed. There was a malfunctioning cistern in a toilet that reception was informed about but was not fixed. Other than that, there was loittle to complain of, and the superb central location made up for these defects.

Nice small hotel in great location
I stayed in Rome 6 nights and this hotel was exactly what I needed. Excellent location - I could walk everywhere. It's very close to Piazza Navona, the Vatican and St. Angel's castle. Many other sights are walking distance as well. The room was an Ok size for Europe and clean. Most of the staff spoke English and were friendly enough. There is no breakfast room/kitchen at the hotel, so I had to get breakfast at one of 3 local cafes. If worked well for me, but could be a problem for people who like American breakfast. Overall it was a good experience.

Need new bed
The location of the hotel is fabulous. Very close to major attractions. HOWEVER, they put part of our party in their building across the street. I didnt even know this was going to be a possibility. They gave us no access to that building so it was not good. Our sons alarm did not go off twice so we had no way to get to him. Therefore we had to contact hotel staff to come let us in. They came within 10 min. So very quick. But we should not have had that problem to begin with. The beds need to be replaced. I think the mattress was changed during the Roman times. In addition, the bed was very squeaky. So you couldn't even turn over without waking your spouse.

Great location but limited services
This residence is in the heart of Rome right next to great restaurants and shops and all the best sights and shopping. The room is very nice and cozy but our shower had black mold in it (wear flip flops!). The problem with this type of lodging is that it is located in a pedestrian only area so off-loading our luggage and/or parking our rental car was impossible and of course there is no valet or porter to help you lug your luggage upstairs and through the cobble stone alleys (this is a big inconvenience) especially since the closest parking garage is about 3 blocks away... but it's worth it to be in that area if you can handle that stress.

Great Location, Breakfast Disappointing
This guesthouse is a great value for location and room condition. You are within easy walking distance of most tourist attractions if you don't mind walking. We were at the Vatican within 10 minutes and at the Coliseum within 15 or 20. My only complaint is that the hotel advertises that breakfast is included. Technically, that's true, but realistically, it's not. We were given coupons for a local cafe where we could take breakfast. I didn't mind going out for breakfast, and it was a very nice walk, so that wasn't a problem. My issue was that when we arrived at the cafe, the coupon covered a croissant, juice, and coffee per person. When you are traveling with a teenage boy, one plain croissant doesn't cover breakfast. Just expanding the breakfast menu to include more than one pastry and maybe a piece of fruit or some meat and cheese or maybe a yogurt would make a huge difference. We ended up purchasing additional food every morning which was unanticipated and slightly annoying. I think it would be an easy thing to fix. Other than that, we couldn't have been more pleased with the value for money. I would definitely stay again; I'd stay more happily if breakfast were upgraded!
