Cozy small hotel close to Spanish steps

Posted Nov 29, 2016
Pros: Clean. Close to tourist sites yet a good distance apart to give you the calmness away from all the touristic hectic crowds. Breakfast is superb.
Cons: Everything was perfect.
Location: Spanish steps. Trevi fountain. Via Condotti Via Corso Piazza di Popolo and the Piazza di Spagna metro and Villa Borghese all walking distance.
The hotel is small but very cozy and cute. Very clean. Staff was nice. Breakfast choices were amazing. Walking distance to Piazza di Spagna and the Trevi fountain. Spanish steps metro also close by. Via Condotti and Via Corso all close by. The terrace rooftop restaurant looked cute and relaxing. The breakfast was amazing. I can!t say it enough. We had a superb stay. I will return!

Hotel tres surevalue

Posted Aug 27, 2016

Good location & friendly, helpful staff but not 5*

Posted Aug 19, 2016
For me, this hotel does not live up to its 5 star rating. While the staff are very friendly and helpful and it is in a fairly central location, the hotel is rather tired looking with limited facilities. Unfortunately, we were put in a room where the ceiling was half painted and in some places flaking off the wall and it was generally dark and depressing. There were no coffee and tea making facilities unless you ask and when it did arrive there was only green tea supplied and no coffee. when we did request coffee sachets for the room again, we were greeted with a look of confusion/disgust by the restaurant staff who delivered it. Then we realised it was decaf he had brought and gave up trying to get a cup of coffee. Obviously, they prefer you to buy the coffee from the overpriced menu. In their defence, when we told them we were disappointed in the room they were very gracious and found us an alternative which was fresher and brighter and the explanation given was that we had only booked a superior room ( caution to all superior room bookers) and that some guests prefer the classic room( in need of decoration). So, our stay did have a happy ending with regards the room where they moved us to another superior room with more modern decore, however in my opinion the hotel rating is over optimistic, over priced and facilities poor.

Disappointed

Posted Aug 14, 2016 on Hotels
Left a bad taste leaving the hotel when they first told us the continental breakfast was free when we first checked in, then the next morning they charged us 30 euro each for the breakfast and said that it was never free. Never really wanted to spend 60 euro on some scrambled eggs and coffee... Oh and they never cleaned our room until we had to call them late at night to come and clean it. Also there was a brown smudge on our bed sheets and lipstick on the robes they left for us. Not what we were expecting from trying to pick an upscale hotel for our Rome Honeymoon.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback and taking time to post your comments. We are so sorry that your experience in hotel did not meet your full expectations; please allow us to express our sincerest apologies. We do take all comments seriously and appreciate all the feedback we can get to improve ourselves. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding with the breakfast charge. Moreover, rest assured that the room full cleanliness is our daily main priority. The only reason for which the cleaning is not done is when the guest puts the 'do not disturb' card on the door, in accordance with its request. Again, we are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Best regards. My daughter and I loved this hotel! It was a wonderful location, close to the Spanish Steps and Borghese gardens and not really very far from anything. We walked all over Rome from this hotel. The hotel was very pretty and clean, and the staff were all very nice and spoke good English. I would definitely go back!
