Great Location in the centre of the historic area

Posted Jul 18, 2017
Pros: Location, Great staff, Standard of the rooms.
Cons: The leaking downpipe immediately outside our apartment "block". Not a major issue though.
Location: A few steps away from the Roman Forum (as you would expect) and 5 minutes walk from the Colosseum. Fantastic sights at any time of the day and night.
A great long weekend (3 nights) at the hotel. Every single one of the staff we met could not have been more helpful from booking taxis, dinner reservations, serving breakfast etc etc.

Wonderful location with marvelous service. The terrace top roof is a must see and the view is awesome. Great yourself to this Inn when in Rome.

Has the feel of a neighborhood, with a mix of local families and tourists. The hotel is charming and friendly. Probably the best breakfast in any hotel in Rome.

Beautiful hotel in great location

Posted Dec 14, 2016
Pros: There is nothing not to like about this hotel.
Location: The hotel is in the midst of ancient sites and close to train station and great restaurants.
The Inn at the Forum Romanum is a beautiful, small hotel in a fabulous location in the midst of ancient sites. Everything about the hotel itself is fabulous and the staff attentive and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and when next in Rome will happily stay there again.

subtle elegant understated secluded luxury.

Superb. The Inn at the Roman Forum exceeded my high hopes for what it would be. The hotel arranged a car and driver to meet us at the airport and this worked perfectly and we were soon at the hotel where we were met at the door by the manager. The Inn at the Roman Forum felt more like a home than a hotel. The hotel does so many special touches that raise it way above the rest. Breakfast is a delight, sitting in the roof top garden looking over Rome and contemplating another great day exploring and is also the place to finish the day with a glass of wine and beautiful vista. Location is so central, it is only a short stroll to the Colloseum, Pantheon, Piazza Novona, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore and even St Peters and the Vatican City is not too far to walk to. We were there for five days and had a great time and will return. John and Eleanor.

Excellent staff, very attentive and friendly

Pros: excellent location and quiet, away from street noise, staff and breakfast
Cons: Afternoon tea could be better. Served 5-8pm, we had a nibble at 7pm but very little available and cheese rather warm/stale
Location: In the heart of the ancient ruins of the Roman forum and 5 mins from the Coliseum
lovely little hotel away from the crowds but in the heart of the ancient ruins. Lovely staff and breakfast

Fantastic location in the heart of Rome!

We had a wonderful experience at the Inn at the Roman Forum last week. The staff were incredibly helpful, making dinner reservations for us every night, among other things. The breakfast and amenities were top rate. We look forward to going back again.
