Convenient hotel and TAXI location

Pros: We love the surprises in our room in the evening.
Cons: Once the upgrade is completed this will be an outstanding hotel
Location: All major tourist attractions are within 1-5 miles from the hotel.
Friendly staff eager to help. 1 of 3 elevator was out of service for the 10 days we were there. Otherwise, not much can be improved/

Exquisite hotel

Pros: The beautiful rooms. The excellent location. Champagne at 7pm. Wonderful butler service.
Cons: Just better training for the housekeeping staff.
Location: Very central, close to buses and trains and within walking distance of many beautiful museums and landmarks.
Fabulous hotel in every way. Perfect location. Gorgeous, elegant rooms. Excellent staff. Butler service that is second to none. Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed, when we needed it. Loved every minute of our stay !!

EXCELLENT HOTEL

Pros: The staff was very helpful and the room was very clean . Beautiful rooms.
Cons: hard to say ,my experience was great
Location: The tour company is just outside the hotel and the train station is close by .
THE staff was excellent and very helpful . The room was very nice. I will definitely return .

Hotel is nice but not a typical st Regis...

I have stayed on Roma 3 times. This was my first stay at st. Regis. The hotel is clean and nice but not the typical St. Regis. One elevator is always broken the other only worked sometimes. The staff is friendly, I would only stay if I got a great rate otherwise I would go to one of the other top Roma hotels.

Great central location

Pros: Rooms, beautiful decor but lobby, restaurant and bar under construction. Absolutely love the St. Regis saber champagne ritual at 7pm every night
Cons: Service
Location: As mentioned centrally located.
The St Regis is located in the middle of all need to see sites of Rome, except Vatican. Rooms are big for hotels in most of Rome. Service not quite 5 stars as Hassler or Rusie but good enough.

Great time at the St Regis

Pros: Service. All staff was great. Each evening, Complimentary Prosecco was a nice touch.
Cons: Finish the renovations!
Beautiful, grand hotel. Excellent staff, services, easy registration. Restaurant was very good, complimentary Prosecco was a nice touch. Only downside was renovations made it hard to fully appreciate the whole experience.

Great Experience

We stayed at st Regis for 4 nights and we had a great time there.Its location is really good, close to termini and it close to all the major attractions in Rome it also has a grocery store across the street if you need to buy anything. If you are going to stay there you should definitely go to the bar, food and the staff there were great. I'll definitely go back to stay there in the near future if possible.

Beautiful and elegant hotel

Pros: Staff, cleanliness, elegance
Cons: More equipment in the fitness center.
Location: Walking distance to the train station, some restaurants, but more the quick cafe style.
Wonderful experience. Hotel was very clean and elegant. Hotel staff was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I've traveled quite a bit and this hotel ranks near the top. The only downside was they started a renovation during our stay so main lobby and desk were closed off as well as the on-site restaurant. Hopefully the renovations maintain the style and elegance of the hotel. I would definitely recommend and stay there again...after the renovations.

Could've been nice but seriously wasn't.

So, long story short, it was my 10 year anniversary. Booked the Rome St. Regis thinking it was a no brainer. It would be perfect right? Nope. Upon arrival had to wait for our room. Um, we have a reservation right? Also, we had flown for 12hrs and our luggage was lost. No problem except they didn't let us know it had arrived until the NEXT day when we came to the concierge asking where we could buy clothes. Okay... The stay kept getting worse. The hotel is currently undergoing a RENOVATION, that will last till SEPTEMBER. I wouldn't have booked them if I had known this. So breakfast was sub par, and dinner was literally in a HALLWAY. No exaggerating, it was in the hallway next to a ballroom. When I finally snapped and asked to speak to the manager she was nice enough, but really couldn't do anything as far as credits to my account for a night's stay, since I had used Expedia. Hump. Lastly. Most importantly, when my husband gave me privacy to pack, he used the restroom downstairs, only to BE FOLLOWED into the restroom by SECURITY. I have no words for the way I feel about this hotel. We paid them a hefty price to be treated like...
