"A very tidy and lovely cabin equipped with everything you need. Amber is a great host and there when you need anything , Very nice and wants to share all she knows about the area. We had a great stay!"

"Cabin is located in the woods, was very tiny, dining table big enough for 8 of us to meet up for dinner. Host was very responsive and informed us as soon as cleaning was finished so we could check in early if wanted."

"We just had birthdays, 70 & 72. Love the outdoors. This quiet place in the woods was awesome for us. Outside hot tub was wonderful. Faces the woods, leaves were beautiful. Cabin was very roomy and kitchen well stocked. Very comfortable beds, slept so good! We saw at least 30 deer during our stay. We will be back... wonderful! "

"This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. "

"Very remote location- having a 4WD was helpful. Place was clean- no spiders or webs. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Would have been nice to have a space heater as the available heating is insufficient. Mattresses are a hard foam (some people may prefer this, but I was up all night). Much of the place has been renovated, but more is necessary. My adult daughter enjoyed our one night stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the long weekend! We had 3 generations together celebrating birthdays. The house is spacious yet log cabin cozy in the woods-remote but not too remote. The piano was an added bonus!! We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and morning coffee /meals on the deck. Lots of games! Cacapon State Park is a hop, skip and jump away and we hiked each day exploring nature and beautiful views. Cacapon also has a nice gift shop and a cute beach, we never made it to the beach...
