This is about a train experience....

This hotel is all about the experience of staying in a train caboose. Train cabooses are small, when compared to a hotel room, without amy of the luxuries that more space can provide.
Hotel staff is very nice and try hard to accommodate. Dining car restaurant is great - good food, good service, nice and close.
Cabooses are old and, in an age where tiny living is becoming more commonplace, have not been cleverly converted to a rental space. Very little room for storage or luggage or moving around - dated decor and fixtures.
Bed in first caboose, 3N, was very comfortable, but hot water was not working, so we were given caboose 26 instead. Bed in 26 was pretty bad and didn't provide for a good night's sleep.
Overall, glad I checked it out. The grounds are conventionally located near attractions and offered restaurant, gift shop, and petting zoo. I can now officially say that I stayed in a train.
Hope that the new owners, who just took ownership in February of 2017, continue to renovate and improve the rooms.
