Very noisy, windows not double glazed I guess

Posted Mar 19, 2018
Pros: Bathroom was roomy, cheap price.
Cons: Double glazing/external noise.
Location: Right in the midst of a very lively area of the city centre.
Cheap for Liverpool city centre for a Liverpool home game, but reason why was clear. Noise from the adjacent pubs and bars went on until about 3am.

Nice hotel reasonably priced.

Pros: Staff were great, rooms were clean and central to city centre.
Cons: Bathroom window didn't seal so noise of late night revellers could be heard for some time into the night.
Location: 10 minutes walking distance from party area around the Cavern Club.
Stayed here for a boys weekend in Liverpool, Friday and Saturday nights. Staff were great, room was clean, spacious and central.Ideal for a party weekend.

A lovely, friendly hotel!

Posted Jan 11, 2018 on Hotels
The hotel has been recently refurbished (with suitable Beatles-era lines on mirrors, walls etc) but, as a result, some items (eg WiFi) are not yet working as well as they could. Breakfast was great and reliably available from 07:30 - 09:30 weekdays, half an hour later at weekends. I didn't try lunch and they don't serve dinner but the staff recommended several good nearby restaurants, some of which I used. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I was allowed to leave a big case to collect later, as I passed on the way to the train.

The Good-Close to Central Rail Station. City centre location. The Bad-Rooms are very basic. Extremely noisy at night. Very loud music until after 2am. Lots of drunken street noise after this, until the early hours.

Great place to stay in the city

Posted Sep 4, 2017
Cosy stay in a great hotel. Convenient and pleasant place for a night in the city because of the night porter. Made it very easy for me after a night out. Friendly ladies on reception and a rather quiet stay too. Comfy little room for one with all the little bits you needed for one night. Not too hot and not too cold either. Didn't try the breakfast. But it did smell good. All round good stay. Would definitely stay again Thank you

Pros: ITt was close to Albert Dock and reasonably priced.
Cons: Better class of clientel... the ones I saw were rough.
Ive never stayed in a hotel which needed bouncers on the door!.Very noisy until the early hours but Id been warned so ok. Left breakfast uneaten due to foul mouthed men at next table bragging about previous nights conquests. The room and location were ok and the few staff I saw were pleasant though unconcerned.

The hotel , I knew was in a location with a lot of noise nearby, but I was awoken at 7 am Monday morning by engineering equipment in the alley nearby. I fully expected noise from the nightclub area nearby. I won't stay here again.

On the March

I booked a triple room which stated 3 single beds. On arrival we found that the room had a double bed with a single. We used the family room which has 4 single beds in a large room on the quiet side of the first floor, but were charged the additional cost. Pleasant stay in the busy centre of the city with a good bar on the ground floor.
