Room had a tv but was not plugged, cable was not plugged in and had no remote so could not watch it. Hotel smelled like pot when you walk in. Beds were very uncomfortable and old. Would not stay there again.

Couldn’t find the front door. PST... it’s through the diner . Nice front door lady. Attached diner is only open till 7 and only opens at 7 and service is tremendously slow. Room was ok but only 2 small pillows. Went to check out in the morning and get a receipt but the lobby/front desk is closed. Won’t be staying here again.

I had a good breakfast but the bathroom fan didnt work and the room had a mouldy smell. Also the bed mattress was very uncomfortable and the bedding felt like fiberglass, made my skin itchy. The whole experience was not worth the price of the room.

I drove about 8 hours to get to this Hotel during my Business Trip. The Hotel is located in small village which is a remote location. When I got there at around 11 in the night, the Front Desk Person said that she can not find my reservation. I had booked a room on this website earlier in the afternoon and was all paid for. I also had a confirmation number however the person said they can not use the Confirmation Number because they only work with Expedia and not Hotels.com. I was fortunate to get a room in a hotel down the street for double the price I had originally paid and it was the last room left. Besides these two Hotels, there are no other places to stay in the village and the closest options are about an hour drive. If you are booking a room at this Hotel, please ensure to call the Hotel directly to confirm your reservation ahead of time.

The Roseau Motel and Diner is a typical "Motel". The owner was very nice and accommodating, room was clean , bed was soft and comfortable- The building itself is older and probably need of outside repair but they are doing there best maintain the inside, it really is a cute place and a free breakfast, Amy was extremely accommodating and friendly, price was right , WE would stay again!!

Friend Staff & Great Amenities
Convenient location in heart of the business area of town. I was a little skeptical when I first arrived as the exterior leaves a bit to be desired for asthmatics, but my concerns were quickly abated when I entered the lobby. Super friendly staff at hotel and attached diner. Room was spacious and clean- and they had gone in to turn on the heat for me so it was warm too! Little noisy with passing cars outside but that decreased as it got later. Amenities for all guests in central area included microwave, ice machine, toaster and other utensils. Breakfast included at the diner was excellent, and I stayed for a bit to use the WiFi and make more trip plans. Thanks for a great experience!

You’ll survive a night in a pinch
Stayed for one night for a wedding. The bathroom was fine, the room was clean. But my towel had two holes in it and a rust stain I think. The bed was like laying on a weird marshmallow-too cushiony in places and had some dips to make you feel like you are going to roll around without care. Two pillows on the queen bed but they were like a half filled pillows and very uncomfortable. Did come with a breakfast at the dinner and that was very good and the service was great. Also the room was very dark even with all the lamps on and while it had a large window for light you didn’t exactly want the curtains open as it is ground level and people park right outside. A man walked by while I was getting ready and could see right in no problem :/. Overall it was fine in a pinch but the AmericInn is to be preferred if you can afford to pay a bit more.

Nice relaxing stay
I loved the friendly staff! They made me feel “at home”.The room was large enough and with a table and two chairs. So nice to have a coupon for a breakfast at the Diner each morning.

I guess you get what you pay for. When I checked in, I was asked to check my room because the housekeeping staff hadn't done a good job in other rooms. Luckily, it was decent. The beds were not very comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel closes early. Outside condition of the building left much to be desired. Wish I would have booked at one of the other hotels on the street.

Roseau Motel and Diner
This hotel is older but very clean and our room looked to be recently remodeled. Attached diner served delicious breakfast food (we did not eat there for any other meals). We stayed in Roseau in the winter with frigid outdoor temps but our room was warm and cozy. Affordable rates. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Cute little place
Everything is very clean and smells clean. The owner was so friendly and very sweet. The little diner attached to it has an old-timey feel and has been there for a while. Their food was great! I would absolutely stay here again.

The Roseau motel is okay for an overnight. Typical facilities of a modest hotel. Price excessive for the value. The breakfast feature is a definite plus. Use have a coupon for up to $ 6.95 to the local attached dinner. The food was good and the prices fit the coupon. I would use again if I had to be in Roseau.

Only room in town, so no choice. Hot water was scalding one day, non-existent another. Attached motel was great for breakfast, not so good in afternoon.

Got in super late and had to wait for someone to check us in by calling a number they left on the front desk but they came quickly enough and were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious (came from the diner attached to the hotel). Beds weren't very comfortable but at least they were clean. Hot shower, nice water pressure. You get what you paid for!

On a 2 week road trip. Booked this motel online 2 hours prior to arriving. When we got there, they had no rooms left. They had not checked their online bookings and had rented out all of their rooms. They should not use Hotels.com if they are not going to be more responsible than that! Manager not the least bit sorry. Hotels.com not at fault.

Having stayed here several times before we were happy to see the service and room were just as good as we had come to expect. Enjoy the generous complimentary breakfast provided by the facility and the polite staff who waited on us. We had a change of plans and checked out a day early and were disappointed not to receive a refund for our final day, but did not give enough notice of our departure time, I guess.

We did not stay here.
Hotel.com should not list this hotel in your web. Owner (Asian lady at counter) refuse to give us receipt because we paid to web site not to her?? She did not give us two breakfast coupon because it is one room and one bed, not couple in one room. Then we saw the hallway and room. Key cards did not work at all, so she gave us another room. Front entrance needs to sweep and so is backdoor entrance. We left and went to next door, bad service almost rude and run down rooms and hall.

We arrived at the hotel when the temp was below zero. The restaurant and lounge were closed due to extreme weather conditions. Our vehicle was the only one there. It took us a while to find the staff as they had stepped away. We had booked two rooms. We went to our room and the electric heat had not been turned up. It felt like it was around 50 in the room. We stuffed paper in the window sill as the wind was coming right in. The other room was fine. My suggestion is that they should do some repairs and heat the room when they know they are booked.
