center of Roswell

An okay hotel, if you've ever stayed at a La Quinta then you know this is a basic hotel. Family was traveling and stopped here for the night since they don't charge for a dog. Breakfast was nothing to brag about at this particular location. Felt fairly clean

Room smelled like smoke.

Posted Nov 27, 2016
The first room we were given had obviously had previous smokers. We asked for another room. We were disappointed that there was no hot tub in the hotel.

I Do apologize for the smell you encountered upon arrival. We always aim to please our Guests and it is unfortunate that a previous guest smoked in the room. We are 100% Non Smoking. Again Thank You for bringing it to my attention. Sincerely, Bob Gutman Manager

Nice looking place, but a bit pricy

Posted Nov 7, 2016
Pros: Breakfast was worth going to, had actual hot fare.
Cons: Can't think of anything to say, so must be a good thing.
Location: Home of the "area 51 Roswell incident"

Nice, clean comfortable hotel in a girl d location

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Pros: Nice, new hotel with a nice-sized, comfortable room. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: I liked the hotel. Why do I have to say something negative?
Location: Location is great with good restaurants very nearby.

Nice suite with a couple exceptions

Posted Sep 26, 2016
Cons: 1. A list of city restaurants in the room 2. Provide body lotion 3. Put washcloths IN the bathroom.
Location: Roswell UFO Museum. Alien Zone to take funny pics
The suite was roomy and clean, and the location was perfect - near a door to outside so we could park close by and easily pack up the next morning. Three things that could be better: 1. A list of city restaurants should be in the room 2. It's a bummer that La Quinta no longer provides tiny bottles of body lotion - I didn't bring any for this eight day trip anticipating that, as always, some would be provided by the hotels we stayed in. The desk clerk pointed out I could buy some from their display. Good grief. 3. There were no washcloths in the bathroom. Only in the outside dressing area. I had to get out of the shower, wet, to retrieve one and bring it back to the bathroom. Small things, but these WILL influence out next booking decisions.

Thank You for taking the time to give us feedback. We will work on the issues you were concerned about. I will address the issue regarding lotion. Yes, we did switch to the Market last year. I may just purchase some small lotions and keep them available upon request. Thank You

Good spot in Roswell

Posted Sep 18, 2016
Pros: Close to where I was visiting.
Cons: A bit more energy in the staff.
Location: Near the Main street (US 285) and NMMI. Bitter Lakes Wildlife Refuge is about 15 minutes drive NE and has waterfowl in season, and Dragonfly festival
Convenient access to the highway without being ON the highway (2 blocks away). Large athletic field to run or walk just a block south. Rooms are clean and nice. Only inconvenience was Saturday morning the breakfast bar ran out of coffee, eggs and sausage just as the large Saturday morning crowd was getting up, and the kitchen staff was outside on the phone!

Non-Aliens, in Transit.

The room felt a little claustrophobic when we first walked in, but it didn't take long to adjust. The beds were comfortable, the room was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay.
