Pros: The staff, the location, the room, and the buffet,
Location: Visit the main square at noon. Take the Night watchman tour. Eat at one of several good restaurants within easy walking distance. Walk along the wall.
The hotel was close to the center of the old town. The staff was extremely pleasant. The breakfast buffet was great. The room was large with a nice bathroom. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Charming hotel in a charming townPosted Sep 22, 2015
Location: can walk to major churches and town marketplace. The shops we wanted to visit most were just on the next street over.
Hotel has excellant location in this old walled town. Parking garage a plus. Rooms have excellant views out of windows. Breakfast room likewise overlooks old town wall. A great base to explore this old town by foot.

Great position in a quiet part of town, but closePosted Sep 13, 2015
Location: There is a lot to do and see in Rothenburg. Don't miss the night watchman tour- starts 8pm outside the Rathaus !
From our arrival to the Burg Hotel - early, but the room was ready - to leaving everyone was delightful. All the staff were friendly and helpful( particularly Otto) and made us feel very welcome. The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was served in a lovely room. It had a wide choice of food, and staff cooked eggs just for you. When we return to Rothenberg Om der Tauber, this is where we will stay!

Love this Hotel!Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Everything. Particularly liked the room, the garden outside our french doors, and breakfast and the view of the valley. Amazing!!
Cons: Not a thing
Location: Quiet and only a few blocks from the center of town.
If I am ever fortunate to go back to Rothenburg (my second trip to this amazing place) I will stay at this hotel. The service, the hotel itself, the breakfast, it was exceptional. We enjoyed every minute and wished we had another day. It is a romantic, quiet, great place!! Don't miss this one!

温かい接客のホテルPosted Aug 24, 2015

Great HotelPosted Aug 12, 2015
Situated in the old town only two blocks from the marketplace, it was perfect for sightseeing but away from all the crowds. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and our 'valley view' room was spacious and had everything you could want. We really enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous boutique hotelPosted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Stylish decor, great location, peaceful, parking, lots of character.
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: Quiet location, easy walk to restaurants and bars, churches and museums.
This is a delightful hotel it seems to grow out of the wall of the old city with fantastic views across wooded hills. The rooms are very comfortably and stylishly furnished and room 1 as well as a four post bed has its own private garden which is truly delightful to sit in during the summer. The breakfast room has lovely views across the valley and there is a small terrace to eat outside in good weather. The hotel is in a very quiet spot and ask is very peaceful. Rothenburg itself is a very attractive town with a great number of restaurants and bars dotted along narrow cobbled streets. The hotel staff are very helpful and clearly care about their guests. There is a limited amount of street parking available at 5 Euros a day and the hotel have a small garage for 5 or 6 cars at 10 Euro a day. Note that the hotel doesn't have any air conditioning so can be warm in hot weather, however each room has an electric fan and that helps a great deal. All said this is a cracking little hotel with bag fulls of character in a quiet location in a fairytale town. What is not to like? Highly recommended.

現実を忘れさせてくれるホテルPosted Jul 12, 2015
