Overall the stay was very good. Our window did not lock properly, but we were on the 2nd floor, so we did not complain. We would definitely go back. The town was great and it was within walking distance.

Comfortable room, parking easy if limited, good breakfast, helpful staff members. Location is ok but not great in terms of dining/eating options, since there is no in-house bar or restaurant. I was unable to locate anything within walking distance. But I still would stay here again.

Very affordable. We stayed one night on tour of southern Germany. The convenience and location are the real benefits of this property. Room was clean.

Staff was friendly, and it is a cute, quaint property. Extremely warm when we stayed, and very little air circulation in the room made it almost unbearable. Having fans available would be very helpful.

It was very close by the town, which you could walk to in 15 minutes. Not many spaces to park, so had to rely on street or city parking lots. Very cute for an overnight stay.

Great value at an affordable price
The room was small, but was everything i needed. It was clean, the staff was super friendly, and the hotel is in a great location. All in all, you cant beat it for the price. I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

I understand not being able to check in early, but think they should have been able to safely store a backpack for me for a few hours. I was tald I could leave in next the TV, where anyone could walk off with it. (No working lockers at the train station). First gentlemen in the morning I dealt with was very short with me, not very friendly, the woman at the desk later in the day was very nice and helpful.

The Property was very well-kept and clean. Better than we expected. We had a great stay. Location to the old town is ideal. I didn't like paying for internet during an overnight stay.

Location close to the train station is a plus and the breakfast was quite nice. We were placed in the guest house next to the hotel and the room was lacking. The bathroom/shower is hardly big enough to turn around in. The location right next to a main road makes it tough to open the windows at night to cool things down.

We had 2 room for the 4 us We were very happy with it. Rooms were nice. Little pub on site was cute. Delicious burgers with good beer. Would gladly return.

Our flight was delayed so we were getting into rothenburg later than planned around 11 pm. According to Expedia website it says late check in is available until 12 pm and to just call ahead. We called the property and the manager(Christian) that we talked to sounded like he didn’t want to help us at all, was rude, and told us late check in wouldn’t be possible. We explained what the website said and that it was out of control and he said it’s not possible due to coronavirus to late check in this time, covid has been happening for over a year and half at this point so their website is outdated. The guy continued to not want to help us and told us we needed to find somewhere else to stay. When we asked for a refund because he was not honoring what the website said he realized we booked through Expedia. We thought we had already paid at the time, but later realized that we had just received a total and in the booking email it stated to pay at property. But I guess since the manager realized he wouldn’t get any money from us he then allowed to do a late check in. It was very simple, we just had to email a picture of our vaccination cards and then there was a lock box with a key inside and it took less than a minute to get into our room when we got to the hotel. Overall, the room was nice and had everything you needed. We are just very offput by how unwilling the manager was to help us when the late check in process was so simple. The customer service was not great

That has nothing to do with rudeness and no helpfulness and certainly not where you booked. The problem is more due to the Corona regulations in Germany. We have to register every guest personally with ID and vaccination certificate. The late check-in is simple, but not 100% legal. I assume you understand that we cannot keep the hotel running for 3 hours because of a single arrival. So actually we even did a better customer service than we are actually allowed to.

Nice location in front of the railway station and a short walk to the old city. Parking alongside the hotel and across the street. Breakfast was adequate. The bar downstairs, Liquid Corner, is outstanding.

Good location with free parking onsite and offsite, 10 minute walk to town and supermarkets are close. Hotel is very tired and in need of refurbishment, mattresses had springs coming through them, old towels / bathroom. Service was surly.

Well located, ample free public parking in front of hotel, cheap, basic room but in good condition, bathroom is small and old, beds and pillows aren't very good, no black out curtains, staff is a bit direct but efficient, overall it's a basic place but it's fine for one night

Easy access to old town, free parking
Great location, easy and free parking right across the street. Easy and pleasant walk into the old town. No air conditioning and a loud street if you need the windows open, but they provide a fan which does help. Clean and comfortable room. Only issue was that housekeeping let themselves into our room while we were still there.

Rothenberg city is a delight! The hotel is across the rd from the train station so is essy to find. It is less than a 10 mim walk to the town square.

This hotel is just across the street from the Rothenburg ob der Tauber train station. Then it is maybe a 15 minute walk to the old town wall. The wifi was decent. There is also a good supermarket across the street from the hotel. The room could use a bit of an update. The curtains did not entirely cover the window. The hotel was a good value for the location. I would stay here again if I am ever back in Rothenburg.

For the price and location to the walled city it was a no brainer. Could the beds have been a little more comfortable? yes, but they were fine for the type of hotel at this price range. The room was clean and was also upgraded with a new vanity and freshly painted walls. The breakfast had a good variety of meats, cheeses, cereal, breads and jams. Only hot item was soft cooked eggs. Overall we would stay here again for a stop over, probably not for an extended period of time though.

Lovely stay.
Greeted by a very helpful desk clerk for check in. She even helped us by printing our boarding passes! We stayed in the guest house in a double room. It was lovely, spacious and clean. It has a small writing desk, free WiFi, even a sheet with a map of the town and sights to see. We arrived late so went to the little bar on the property for a drink and a burger. Both were delicious. Server even gave us hints on a little cafe to visit. We had breakfast on site. Lots of variety for a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.

I did not like the extremely slow internet service. Even after complaining, it did not improve. Secondly, my wife appears to have contracted a bad case of bed bites (on the 2nd day of our visit). The shower water faucet was extremely difficult to understand on how to get the shower to work. The only selling point is how close it is to the bahnhof, it is across the street.

Well worth it
I was a bit worried cause quite a few reviews mentioned noise. But when i stayed it was very quiet despite being a bus load of tourists there. Wifi was great in the room which is not always the case. Staff was grumpy though and an occasional smile would help a great deal. Price was great for such a touristy city. Across the road from train station. Great if you leave by train.

I really enjoyed this hotel - was very tidy and clean. I didn’t get to try the food, but the bed was very comfortable! The only thing I personally didn’t like was the lack of air conditioning, which is entirely my personal preference (I’m a spoiled American). I imagine under normal circumstances the temperature is beautiful, but sadly I came during a large heat wave. I kept the window open to keep the room semi-cool. Normally this wouldn’t be any issue whatsoever, but there was also a large tour bus staying here and the people/kids with them we quite loud - so I could hear them most of the time. They did quiet down around 10pm or so. But let’s be honest though, they can’t control the weather or the tourists and they can’t be at fault for it. Other than those two things, there wasn’t anything I could complain about. I’d stay here again! ^.^
