We loved this hotel. Just keep in mind that the hotel does not have their own parking spaces, you have to use public parking.

Nice stay at the Prinzhotel
Great location in Rothenburg obT! Our room was very clean and had a very comfortable adjustable bed. The bathroom was the nicest bathroom that we have had yet on our trip! We would stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful town, and this hotel was a wonderful place to stay. Quiet and slightly away from the « hub » of other accommodations, it was quiet, and had easy parking. Easy walking to many restaurants and shops, and situated right next to the wall that surrounds the old city. Lovely seating area outside as well, away from the street, like a little oasis.

The staff here was fantastic. The lady at the front desk arranged for us to take her parking spot when she got off work and even assisted us with paying a parking ticket from a different location. The beds were relatively comfortable and very clean. My only complaint is the location of our room. Because there is no AC in the old building we had to have our windows open all night. Our room was facing the city wall and almost level with the walking path. Everyone walking the walls looked into our window and right at us in bed. It was unsettling. I would stay agin but specifically ask for a room on a different side of the building.

Nice comfortable stay
Great location to stay at, a cosy room, friendly staff and a lovely breakfast spread. They promptly accommodated our gluten free breakfast request too. Highly recommend.

Property was great. Location was excellent since we went for the Xmas market experience. The staff was exceptional and made this experience unforgettable. We arrived under terrible conditions since I had lost our passports on the train. We arrived and asked for help and the young lady at the desk took over. She was able to get the right people at the train station and find our backpack with the passports. Then she helped us arrange for a rental to go and get our passports at the train depot. The staff turned our potential disaster into a wonderful time to remember. We were treated so well and would definitely stay here again!!!!! The staff really made the difference.

Bad guests with no one to control them.
The hotel would have been excellent had it not been for 3 guests smoking and chatting away til past 1:00AM right under my window, on the terrace. The hotel has no one in attendance overnight so no one to complain to. there is no air conditioning so the windows have to stay open.

First the hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were very helpful. Second the hotel restaurant was excellent with just what we wanted. I would not hesitate staying there again.

Good position for accessing the Town. Very limited Hotel parking and had to find local pay and display car park and lug our bags. In the details it stated parking was available but not bookable. There were probably half a dozen or so spaces outside the hotel which were all full when we arrived to check in.

The location just inside the walled city was wonderful. being able to walk around the city, and take the nightwatchman's tour and walk back to our room made it so much fun with the grandchildren! Room was very clean, well appointed and comfortable

Very good hotel in the Altstadt
The receptionist was exceptional. She helped me in so many ways - even printed me a route for the train the next day. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaints were that the sink plug didn't work, and I couldn't get the shower on. (But that could have been my fault). I would not hesitate to stay there again. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the train station. I went down the street perpendicular to the one the station is on (just cross the street and keep going in that direction.). Then look to the left for brown Altstadt signs and follow them. Pay attention to the way so you can do it in reverse, if necessary. It works for walkers only.

Located inside the walls of Rothenburg, the Prinz Hotel is centrally located and wonderful. The staff is very accommodating, and the room itselfvery comfortable. Hoping to visit Rothenburg again one day, and will definitely stay here again.

This hotel looks nice, reception is air conditioned and cool. The room we had was like an oven, there was no air conditioning, the sun was beating down through paper thin curtains, and despite having the window wide open from 3 pm when no longer in direct sun light it hadn’t cooled down until bedtime, there was a fan supplied which didn’t rotate. We slept poorly due to the heat. The room was ok.

We liked this hotel. It had a great location, close to the town walls and Market Square, just a few minutes walk. And it was less than 10 minutes from the railway station. The hotel was used by lots of tour groups, but that did not negatively affect our stay in any way. The front desk staff were always helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable, but did get a little stuffy on the warm summer evenings, and opening the window did not always help. We appreciated that the hotel had an elevator, which made it easy to get luggage to our room. The wifi was not included, and the wifi service was of poor quality, so be aware of that. The breakfast service was great, with high quality food and great variety.

Good hotel. Good location. Not far from banhof (very important for ppl traveling via Eurail Pass). A little hard to find but in their defense, we got in late & it was dark so we passed it a couple of times but a local helped us locate the hotel. The hotel even held our bags for us so that we could shop & sightsee. Had to pay for 1 hr of wi-fi to catch up on messages, but we were not here to worry about wi-fi. Rothenberg is the place to shop!

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and all the amenities are excellent. Hotel is inside city wall and all sites of interest accessible by foot. The greatest asset is the warm, friendly and competent staff.

It was a good place to stay. My complaint is based upon what was sold and what I got. Beware and double check the amenities, possibly even and call and make sure they have what you think you are getting.

Nice hotel right inside old town wall
We stayed here 8 years earlier and had a fabulous experience. The breakfast is no longer included and runs ~15 euros, pretty high price. We opted to walk a couple blocks outside the wall and get some breakfast at a bakery that was delightful. Room was nice, internet worked well, beds were comfortable and really appreciated the extra pillows and blankets in the wardrobe. Friendly staff, helped us find parking right outside the wall a couple blocks away with all day parking pass for 3 euro. Loved the nightwatchman tour in english at 8pm. Rothenberg o.d.T. is awesome!

Great hotel in Rothenburg
The hotel was great. i emailed aski g for rooms together because my dad was with us. they made sure we eere next to each other plus they made sure he had a shower. They told us of great restaurants and how to walk around. We were right at the wall where I wanted to be. The people in the hotel from the receptionist to the staff in the restaurant were friendly and informative

Nice hotel within town wall
Excellent hotel within the old town of Rothenburg. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a nice size. Only complaint was that the internet cost 12 Euro per day to use and the breakfast was 14 Euro. We just went to a bakery for breakfast instead. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would stay here again.

The room was very spacious even with the extra bed for our daughter. The location is very good, next to a staircase entrance for the wall. The lobby is nice, but there is no lockex luggage storage area because of the renovations to make the lobby bigger. We had to leave our luggage under the staircase which is completely open. In my opinion, the lobby does not need an open space under the staircase; a locked storage would be much better use of the space (who is going to stand under the staircase anyway?).
