Considering the age of the building the hotel is really impressive. Staff are lovely and can't do enough for you. One small moan, the bed in room 120 really squeaks!

This is the classic wonderful city to visit in Barbaria. The location of the hotel is wonderful. Everything is so walking distance. People are very friendly. The room are very spacious clean with modern bathroom. They have a very good breakfast.

Very quaint, beautiful property in the heart of the city center with large rooms. Ideal location to walk around. Staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and easy to deal with. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely and very charming hotel in a beautiful location. We were able to choose our room whether in floors 1 or 3. Valet parking is excellent and you’re right in the middle of a beautiful town. The walk on the medieval wall is priceless!!!

The hotel was very nice and unique. Our room was very spacious for the four of us. Plus it had nice bathroom amenities. The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful.

What a lovely hotel inside this quaint walled city. The room we had was newly renovated, and was beautiful! Comfortable bed, great storage and a really neat bathroom! We loved our stay here- the hosts were so charming and helpful, a delicious breakfast was provided , and they very nicely assisted my siblings in surprising us with a 50th anniversary treat of sparkling wine and chocolates. We can’t say enough about our stay-thank you again! The Browns

A beautiful property with lovely rooms right in the heart of Rothenburg. Lizzie was most helpful with every request we made. Our room was fantastic! I highly highly recommend the Hotel Romantik Markusturm.

This hotel is like a fairytale. The furnishings are so beautiful! The staff was so lovely and accommodating. It is close to the square and has a great breakfast. We will be returning! Parking is a little tricky but they valet your car so that is helpful.

Such a great hotel, in a perfect location! There were 3 of us (adults), so the room we chose had plenty of space and storage for all of our luggage and bags - didn't feel crowded. Great location which made a walk to any attraction in the city very convenient. Parking is a few blocks away, but a very short walk (you can drop off bags at the front door). Wifi was solid and the breakfast was the best we had on our trip - loved their attention to detail with the service! Would definetely recommend staying here!!

We stayed four nights at this property and were very pleased with the accommodations. It was incredibly convenient and centrally located. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room that we had was large and fully stocked, the breakfast was very good. I'd highly recommend staying here.

This property made all my must have lists. Very large suite, two large screen TVs. King size bed, huge walk in shower with excellent water pressure and hot. The sitting area had a small chair with small love seat size couch. The commode area was separated with it’s own sink which was perfect for us. The entire town was surrounding and was easily walkable. I highly recommend this property for anyone venturing into the Medieval City.

This is a great old hotel, with modern amenities, in a superb location in Rothenburg. Able to pull the car up to the hotel, unload the bags, and the staff parked the car for us. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

This beautiful hotel was so convenient to the old town of Rothenburg and all the sights. The staff was wonderful, friendly and helpful. This unique, historic hotel offered a delicious breakfast, a spacious room and they parked our car for us. No AC but room had 2 fans that worked beautifully. We couldn’t be happier with our stay here. Absolutely would recommend

Nicest hotel room we've ever had. Loved the outside patio. Two twins and king was perfect for our family. Restaurant was also excellent. Staff are amazing. Do the Night Watchman's Tour and stay here. Short walk from P-4 parking (5,50 Euros for day and can leave car overnight).

This is an absolutely must stay in Rothenburg. Pull right up front for valet parking. Friendly staff, clean, terrific breakfast also included. The location is the best, close to the city center. We will be back!

This is a great location to stay when visiting Rothenburg. Very close to the town center and near many shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc. Staff was friendly. Lobby and halls were like walking through a museum. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was nice but different from other hotels. It wasn't a buffet. They asked what you wanted and brought it for you. I highly recommend.

This hotel is wonderfully located on a street of shops leading to the central square, making it a good base for exploring charming Rothenburg. The building is an intriguing maze, attesting to its age. But very old does not mean ill-maintained. The gracious and helpful staff also made our stay so very pleasant.

Heart of Rothenburg
We stayed at the hotel overnight to be rested to explore more of Rottenburg the next day straight out of breakfast. The service is fantastic, they are attentive of your needs and speak very good English. The food dinner and breakfast were spectacular. Rooms are modern and with lots of plugs. You are in the heart of Rothenburg with a hotel with lots of heart.
