It was an ok place - the pool was definitely a disappointment just from the size and location - right beside the street - works well if you don’t want it used!
It didn’t tempt us!

Tuscany was poor - no air conditioning therefore much outside noise due to having to leave the window open, saggy hide-a-bed, slow Internet. The owners transferred us to their sister property, Emerald Spa, and it had everything Tuscany did not.
Comfortable stay although fan didn't work, which was promptly replaced. New fan made lots of noise but didn't move a lot of air Lots of hair on the floor in the bathroom, which was a bit off putting. Otherwise okay
Staff were delightful, room was good, really enjoyed the spa bath. Only thing that bothered us slightly was no aircon in room, ceiling fan didnt really help much in the heat. Overall pretty clean although we did note a fair bit of mold under the rim of toilet. Good location an pretty quiet. We would be happy to return again.
Wasnt the warmest welcome as they hadn't got my details printed off and once they had there were no niceties or info given about the place. Room was very hot and there was no air con. Ceiling Fan and free standing fan dud nothing but create noise and it was hard to sleep. If I opened the windows the loud TV from the room across from me (who had doors and windows open) was very annoying plus lots of flies came in and there was no fly spray. Great that there was sky TV but the TV kept turning off or losing signal. Had to turn the box and and off to get it back on. The room was large and had a good layout, but the kitchen wasn't equipped with a salad bowl or large glasses like most motels who advertise kitchenettes. Good proximity to 2 supermarkets if you are looking to self cater. The Gym room is a box and again no air con. Not really a gym, more a room with a treadmill an old bike and silly ab circle Pro. U Could only have 2 people max in there. Wouldn't say I'd stay again.
The room seemed only half groomed if that. We didn't;t realise till late at night that the bed was missing sheets and pillowcases. There were no towels and the coffee was not stocked up from the last guests. On top of that the plunger still had the lasts persons coffee in but put back on the shelf - eeeew.
I appreciated having the small kitchen and separate room. We stayed over Christmas and this was important as there were limited restaurants open during that time.
The room was tired and needed maintenance. The bathroom had only one plug, cracks in the toilet cistern and holes that were filled in the wall werent finished. The extraction didnt work so the steam filled the room.
Beds werent made just tidied, dust in all the tables, no drawers for clothes and only 2 coat hangers in an open cupboard.
Condensation on the windows in the morning was really bad as no air conditioning.
Was comfy apart from a few things, being the spa did not work but still had a relaxing soak and the 2nd there was a lot of hair around the place (fridge, bathroom and on the sheets)...
Staff are very friendly...
We very much enjoyed our 2 night stay here in Hamilton. Good location for a walk into town. Comfortable bed, nice roomy bathroom and compact but useful kitchen. We walked to the
Hamilton Gardens along the river (3km) which was very pleasant and the gardens tranquil and a great spot for lunch over looking the lake. Caught the bus back to the central transport station.

The pictures of this property made it seem like it was not just a motel with zero land around it. It is a basic motel with nothing but a parking lot like many others in this area.

Thank you for your review-land is an asset we would all like to have with our properties. However Rotorua is well appointed with motels, not alot have land available for children to play on.-Judith

Great firm beds and appointed well, however not to the standard of the Paihia waterfront apartments - Heritage Collection. The shower door leaked water all over the floor, very small kitchenette, Frig quite loud and vibrating during the night as in same room as bed.
Perfect for a night or two. cosy, easy access, everything you would need. The staff at reception were a pleasure to deal with (any where that gives you a couple of biscuits for a cup of tea upon arrival is a winner for me)
A lovely motel with very friendly staff and in a great position. I had an enormous room with its own balcony and a GIANT spa in the bathroom. It felt very luxurious! Had a great night's sleep and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I walked into town the next morning - about 2km, all flat, a lovely walk on a nice day.

Thanks for the review-I certainly understand the spa in the bedroom, yet so many people request this. Wished you had spoken to me, could so easily have moved you. Again thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it-
