Helpful professional staff. Amazing food, really enjoy all of the offerings. Comfortable room, very clean. Price was surprisingly high for an older hotel,especially in the off season.

Charmant hôtel, les chambres sont très spacieuses, avec une très belle vue à l’extérieur. Le service et le staff de l’hôtel a été très décevant, nous avons réclamé au moment de rentrer à l’hôtel qu’il y avait un problème de chauffage, le staff n’a pas du tout été réactif, nous avons du faire plusieurs relances, et c’est après qu’ils nous ont ramené un chauffage électrique. Le service housekeeping a très mal fait les chambres, nous avons été extrêmement déçus de cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner nous a été offert pour s’excuser, geste sympa de leur part, mais c’était la moindre des choses après toutes les remarques négatives qu’on a du leur faire !

Good experience overall, yes would stay again. My only criticisms were that glass, mug and tea kettle stored in the closet weren’t clean upon arrival and not for some time (dusty). The room was also in the basement and older part of the building so appeared not to be as good quality vs other rooms. However fine for city break and bathroom/bed were clean and comfortable. Great breakfast selection and location to the museums and Kunsthall.

Disappointing
This was our third time staying at the Bilderberg. It's location is fantastic and we love the beds there. This time we were given a very large room which we appreciated, but it was along the busy Westersingel. The windows are single pane and did not close well so there was a lot of street noise. Secondly the water pressure was not good at all. We complained on day one but nothing ever changed. They offered another room but never gave us feedback about where/when so we stayed in the same room. We had to book this room because we were traveling with a dog. We did not know housekeeping does not clean (vacuum) when there is a dog in the room but we had to pay for the dog anyway. All in all disappointed and not sure we will be back even though they refunded us the money we paid extra for the dog.

Never going back there
Hotel location is actually the only good thing about it. We got a very big but super Old room that was located in a place that is almost impossible to reach. We needed to carry our luggage through: 1 floor up, then to the other side of the hotel then 1 floor down then to the other side than a round small stairsway down then we got to the room. Like that everytime we wanted to go in or out of the room. There was no shortcuts no help no nothing! We were really shocked by this and by the reaction of the receptionist when we asked if we can get help with our luggage. The answer was just NO. (We offered to pay for that) still NO. The small problem was the room was very dusty old and definitely not maintained.

Mark on the front desk is a great ambassador for the hotel and the city. He was very friendly and helpful with tips on sites and areas for dining and shopping. The room was nice and quiet and the bed very comfortable.

Modern Comfortable Hotel
Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable, centrally located. Walking distance from train station (15 minutes) easy walk to many restaurants. Staff were highly professional and efficient, and very friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, comfortable, great views of city. Highly recommend.

Centrally located, walking distance into the main centre. Staff were efficient and kept drinks on the go. Comfortable room with a large variety of breakfast options. Would stay again.

Rooms were great and very clean. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Only downside was restaurant was closed and it was noisy due to the carnival weekend.

I was provided with a larger room from the staff since the room I was booked in was very small. I did not ask for a larger room but it was a nice addition and made my stay even more amazing! There was some water damage in the bathroom which is why I gave 4 stars. 5 stars for staff
