Do not stay here

We have stayed in a lot of Hotels in many countries but this was our worst ever experience. We booked a room with a refrigerator as this was a requirement of our booking and when we got to our room, no fridge, the noise from the roadworks was very bad ( no fault of the hotel) so I asked for a quiter room with a fridge, I was told that the rooms didnt have fridges and there were no better rooms even though we were at the end near the roadworks. I was later informed by another staff member at checkout that this person had lied to us and some rooms did have fridges. In addition to this, when I checked my credit card statement 2 days later, I discovered that they had illegally deducted another $297 from my credit card. It has taken a week to get this money back and there excuse was that they had charged someone elses room to my card, there explanation for how this happened was not feasable and their reaction to our complaint has been disgusting. We have now been charged 2 foreign transaction conversion fees for these transactions which we will have to pay. The hotel has offered to refund these if we give them our bank account details which we would never trust them with. If you do stay here, make sure you check your bank statements after leaving because if I had not done that, we would be $297 out of pocket.

Dear, We already fixed our mistake during your stay so more we have refund the second transaction but you didn't send us our RIB/IBAN to refund your international extra fee from your bank. In first, in your booking information, we haven't any information about request about mini-fridge. In second, for the roadworks, we can't do anything. And more, the staff member says you "it's impossible to install a mini-fridge in this room" and this thing is right. and more this day we are fully-booked so can't change your room like your have ask us many time due to th roadworks because the sound is the same in the entire hotel. So, we have explain you what we can't refund all your stay. Like we say every times, please note in comment during your booking if you want a fridge and we can attribute a room with one. So dear have a good day. The front desk.

We were very kindly welcomed and the receptionist was helpful with storing our bike and with parking. However there was a dog in the next room and someone was smoking in another room by ours neither of which were great. But the hotel itself was fine.

Lovely and quiet but close to everything

Was just right Hotel was right in the centre of town although still quiet Literally minutes walk from the Cathedral Reception staff were really friendly A fridge would have made it even better
