Overrated Hotel

Pros: nothing
Cons: rooms, common areas, breakfast
Bad hotel, overrated ; in need of repair , over priced ; would not stay here again.

Room and staff were good...

Cons: Breakfast buffet.
The room was clean, nice and quiet. Hotel staff were fine. Breakfast was disappointing, with a bowl of hard boiled eggs set out. Other than that, I would recommend the hotel.

Not as classy as hoped

Unfortunately my room wasn’t the cleanest nor up to date. I found hairs stuck to the shower wall, and the non-slip mat for the tub looked homemade. The walls had cracks everywhere, and it looked like the baseboards had never been cleaned. A comfortable sleep, but the springs on one bed were so broken down, and squeaked so bad, I had to move to the other bed.

Dated and dirty.

Cons: Needs a renovation.
Location: Rudys barbeque.
Dated and Dirty. Nice size tub if you like to take baths. Nice water pressure on shower.

Think twice about a couple of things

Pros: Good price, very convenient location to our doctor's appointment.
Cons: Better response to calls for assistance.
Location: Very convenient location on IH 35 in Round Rock.
Layout is terrible. You have to park in dark parking lot (surrounded by woods) in the back to use elevator. Lights were burned out on walkways on all floors so you had to feel your way to elevator in the dark. To reach the lobby/breakfast area early the next morning, we went down three flights of stairs at front and had to go through another dark area and use card to access the lobby. I would never, ever recommend this as a place to stay for a single woman. The bedside lights were burned out, so I called the desk and asked them to send up light bulbs so I could lay in bed and read. They said they would but no one ever appeared. When I called back, no one would answer my signal. I unscrewed the bulb from a lamp across the room and put it in the light fixture. Would not work. Put the supposed burned out bulb in the lamp and it worked. Conclusion - the light fixture was defective. As I was leaving, I explained the outside light problem to the very nice lady at the desk and she said the lights were on a timer and the timing was probably wrong. Will not stay here on my next trip into Austin.

Decent hotel, great area

This hotel was right by the interstate for easy access. There is a Rudy's and Jack Allen's right by it, which are some incredible eats. It's about a 30 minute drive to Downtown Austin. As far as the hotel conditions go, it was decent. Decent breakfast, decent room, decent staff. All in all, 4/5 stars.

The hotel had bugs and smelled.

Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful
Cons: a lot can be improved.
Location: shopping
The hotel needs an upgrade and the ice machine area smelled like mold and our room had bugs, three varieties at least.

Dead crickets on floor. .. candy on floor.. Food left in mini fridge. Will not recommend this place.
