LOST PILLOW

Cons: Towels are not nice.
About 2 hours of leaving the hotel I realized I had forgotten my goose down pillow. I called the front desk. I was told the cleaning lady did not find it when she cleaned the room. I find that very strange.

First room they gave us smells like animal urine . We ask for another room and they gave the room beside it and stills smells nasty. My allergies started bothering me

Heading home from hurricane Harvey recovery effort

Room was cold and clean. Seems to be a issue with billing, my wife reserved this for me online while I was traveling. She paid for the room herself without me knowing. When I arrived the room was reserved in my name but the front desk charged me also. Told me the next morning he didn't charge me but it does show up on my online bank statement. We will see how this works out.

The roach laid on the floor and remained there for 3 days. I was bitten by the spider and became sick later from infection

Hotel good but not great

Easy access fast check in. However sheet on one bed not clean. Bathtub old and not kept in best shape. Shower curtain not big enough. Room comfortable but no frills. Hotel's age is showing.

Tired property

Pros: Location
This property in general is very, very tired. The elevator made horrible noises, the pool was green on arrival and slowly started to clear up after 4 days.

First room smelled like a cellar.

First room smelled like a damp, musty, moldy cellar, or like a wet carpet in a flooded house. The staff smelled it, too. They were very kind. Moved me to another room. Still smelled shut up and musty, but within acceptable limits. It was a 100 degree day, and I turned the a/c as low as I thought it could handle--it never took the humidity out. It was like sleeping in a wet cold tent. My son said the shower was either scalding hot or chillingly cold. When I showered there did not seem to be a way to adjust temperature. My own shower was tepid water. Several light bulbs were burned out in the room. Having said all the negative--the staff seemed helpful, and the room seemed clean. I think if the a/c and shower had worked....oh yeah, there was also a large discoloration on the ceiling--looked like a bad patch job---if you can't match the paint--repaint the whole space--yes, that is just cosmetic, but it just seemed as if they didn't care. I wondered if there had been a fire that resulted in inadequate restoration. Oh. The breakfast was good. Pool looked a little gross--green and slightly cloudy. Didn't use it, but was just another questionable maintenance issue.

Cons: elevator
Location: close to good resturants
rooms were clean. nice facilities. good breakfast. good location

Room was clean but had cigarette smell toilet was completely plugged but clean makes bad first impression

The hot tub didn't work and their was cleaning product all over the floor of the room I was in. Thier was also someone next door smoking weed which in turn stank up the hall and my room. Other than that no complaints.
