“The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant.”

“I stayed at Place d’Armes over a very busy Fourth of July weekend, and the location was perfect for walking to almost everywhere I wanted to visit in New Orleans. The courtyard made me feel like I had stepped onto another continent, and I loved every bit of it. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the ceiling fan was a game changer I didn’t know I needed. My only negative was the lack of an additional locking mechanism on the door beyond the key card entry. Overall, I would absolutely……

“The hotel was quintessential NOLA..small intimate full of character being an older space. The hotel being aged does not mean it has to smell awful. Since they have no air conditioning it was very damp and hot and smelled like mold and mildew. The rooms also only had a small window unit which did not really cool the room in the summer heat. The attached bar was also hot and smelled bad. Staff was very kind is the only good thing I can say about this hotel.”
