Tired, damp and no wifi.

Posted Sep 23, 2016 on Hotels
Tired and dirty. Damp on ceilings. Got to hotel and advised land lady I wouldn't be staying. As soon as I left she took payment for room. Reported this to hotels.com and awaiting a response as they advised it would be 72 hours.

Good value

Posted Sep 15, 2016
Pros: Good bar serving excellent beer. xcellent breakfast
Cons: Rooms could do with updating
Location: Superb scenery and walking
The hotel is a little bit run down but it is very clean, the staff are friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Overall we found it to be good value for money and would stay again when next visiting the area.

Look elsewhere

The place is austere. Broken bathroom fixtures. Couldn't wait to get out of there. The area has little to recommend it. Stay in Fort William.

Don't expect luxury but for the price and location there's nothing better

A good place to spend the evening and the nignt

Posted Sep 7, 2016
Pros: The staff, the food and the pub itself
Cons: Bathrooms and the wifi could be a bit better. Especially since there is no phone service in the village.
A lovely place. The couple running the place were very friendly. Below the rooms is their pub. We had a lot of fun. You could even play domino's or pool with the locals.Food was good as well. Rooms were fine. We had a good sleep, and that is what counts. If you want more luxury, better go to a more expensive bed and breakfast. But for us the experience was great. I would book there again without any hesitation.

the hotel decor in the lobby was a brilliant lime green. There were cobwebs hanging between the stairs and the desk.the furniture. was scratched and worn. There was black damp in the bathroom. There was glue running down the wash basin and the carpet was badly stained. The Windows were broken. the whole hotel was shabby and badly in need of some paint.Where the doors hit the walls there were holes where the plaster had hit them. it was very shabby everywhere.
