Short break away at the King William IV.

We loved the King William IV the apartment was just right. The staff excellent the food gorgeous . We were attending a 90th birthday for my mother and we took her to the King William IV restaurant for a meal the evening before her birthday and she loved it. Friendly, Excellent service from the staff. Would recommend this Inn to anybody. They are in the process of having more rooms. They have the potential of becoming a 5 star hotel but not there yet. Well done everyone at the King William IV

    Avoid in cold weather

A lovely country pub, bit not a great place to stay. When I arrived the temperature was only 5 degrees and the room (in a bungalow style annex) was equally cold. I was shown to my room where the "operations manager" put on a tiny cheap fan heater, completely inadequate to heat the bedroom let alone the bathroom. Breakfast was not as exciting as the menu suggested, but was made inedible with the same operations manager cleaning the floor around me with the smell of bleach and clouds of dust most off-putting. It may be delightful in summer months, but I would avoid in the bleak autumn / winter

Really enjoyed staying at King William IV pub, staff were very helpful and friendly. Added bonus was the food in the restaurant was excellent, chef was so great at cooking gluten free food.
