Room was nice and quiet.Posted Aug 3, 2015
Cons: New management with some standards
Location: Excellent for the track
Carpet was not clean. Toilet is not secure. Smallest bathroom I've been in ever. Parking lot was covered with trash. Breakfast area smelled of smoke, coffee was terrible. Not much offered for breakfast, cereal &a milk, juice and coffee

DisappointedPosted Aug 3, 2015
Cons: Reduce the price and clean the rooms better.
The cost of the hotel was too high relative to the cleanliness and condition of the facilities. Breakfast snacks were a big disappointment. Table and chair were sticky on the edges and handles and obviously not clean. You could hear the other people in the room next to us. We will not stay in this hotel again.

AWFUL. This is the worst 3 star Motel everPosted Aug 3, 2015
I can't believe Expedia could rate it that high. Unbelievable. The room facilities we very smelly and outdated. No comforters only an old blanket covered with two sheets. Only update was a big screen TV. Expedia. Check out these motels before you encourage people to book. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

OldPosted Jun 9, 2015
Pros: The bed.
Cons: Remodel and update the whole facility.
Location: horse track, restaurants
Everything was out of date except the TV. Linens were old, holes in the carpet, bathroom had cracks in the wall, furniture scared up, light fixture had no electrical plate, air conditioner did not work. The person at the front desk was watching cartoons and the volume was up so loud you could not hear yourself talk. He was very slow and unfriendly. When we checked out, he did not even ask us how the stay was, enjoyed it, etc. He just said "you want a receipt"?

Dark ,dreary and dirtyPosted May 26, 2015
Pros: Host, Nate, very friendly.
Cons: Clean your rooms.Pour money into maintenance, repair and a hot breakfast. Please, post the TRUE picture of your hotel online(with the ugly gray stucco)
Location: Ruidoso is always beautiful!
Hotel is painted a dark gray , giving it a haunted mansion look. There were clipped fingernails at the head of the bed on the floor. I wasn't sure I wanted to take a shower in THAT shower stall. Towels were torn and can be used for cleaning rags. The pool door had a sheet hanging over it (without a reason for closure), but by then I didn't care to venture into a pool or a hot tub. All in all, very disappointing.

Three Day StayPosted May 26, 2015
Location: Close to everything.
We went to stay for a few nights, but only used the room for two. We left early. It was a OK room, but nothing special. It could have used a vent in the restroom after all of the New Mexico cuisine.

Trip to RuidosoPosted May 6, 2015 on Hotels
The room was big with a separate sitting area which I enjoyed. This appears to be a remodel and the attention to detail was lacking. There was very little interaction between guests and staff. There was no warm welcome on my arrival. The continental breakfast was less than standard fair and the reception area smelled of cigarette smoke so that you didn't want to remain in the front breakfast area to eat.
