Booked online for $200 a night. Got to the hotel and it looked nice from the outside. Beautiful area. Upon checking in the lady asked if we wanted to upgrade to a suite for only $40 more. After she described room saying private balcony, jacuzzi hottub, kitchenette, fireplace, etc I thought let’s do it. After getting into the room I decided not even close to worth the $200 a night much less the $40 upgrade. Super outdated rooms. Room cleanliness not good either. Hair in tub, dirty carpet, dirt and coke bottle under pull out bed. Poor maintenance of the “suite”. Caulking cracking and mold. Paint bubbling in various places. Jacuzzi tub and fireplace both didn’t work. Stay wasn’t bad but probably would stay at a motel 8 and be happier and spend less.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at! Everyone was so nice! The buffet breakfast was delicious! Omelettes were awesome! The warm pool and hot spa were incredible. And we even made some s'mores at the fire pit outside. Will definitely come back.

Everything was exceptional, and I must brag on the breakfast, I am not a breakfast person but the breakfast is fantastic and so is the breakfast staff. I can't wait to go back there just a warm and inviting place. Loved it!!

This resort is the best lodging in Ruidoso! Very well maintained rooms, and the property is in top shape condition! Breakfast is amazing, and the bar with happy hour 5-7 and some food (delicious pizza and wings) is a very cozy place to hang out at. Fireplace in the lobby/bar/restaurant and the lobby design are making for an amazing place! We’re for the first time here, and we know we won’t go anywhere else to stay when in Ruidoso! Bathtub has also jets. It was pretty clean and we used that also. One thing missing is bathrobs. For the price, I believe bathrobs should be available, upon request. Pool is salt water, and there is also a jacuzzy. Kudos to management for maintaining this property in such a stellar condition, and for training their staff to provide second-to-none quality service to its customers. Well done, everyone!

Very nice hotel. We did have to borrow the vacuum from a maid to clean the carpet. There was a cookie laying in the hallway the whole time we have been here. The breakfast was a really nice surprise. Great variety and really good. Amenities were really nice. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms stink and are outdated maids don’t clean properly dirt and dust on lights holes in carpet trash beside dressers used water bottles in room. Bathrooms need repairs on walls they are cracks. The pool was nice. Hotel looks nice from outside that’s it but inside is old.

The service is top notch. The pool area, grounds, amenities also top notch. The room size and features are fantastic! The small things need work. The pull out bed was barely functioning. Was dirty underneath the couch. The dishwasher leaked water all over the floor when we tried to run it. Neither the back sliding door or bathroom door lock worked. We will defintely be back, but a walk through of the rooms over time, may e couple rooms a day, just check to make sure everything works. Thanks!
