Not worth the money

Wish I had read the reviews before booking. Our check in was quick and easy. However, our first room assignment was terrible. The beds weren't made, and the bathroom wasn't clean. There was urine and a cigarette butt in the toilet, and the entire floor was supposed to be "non smoking". The guy at the front desk was quick to change our room and very apologetic. Our other room was okay. Beds are not comfortable. Our shower had a constant leak that was annoying. But at least the second room was clean. During the day, the staff is never around. There's a note at the desk to ring the bell. I think this place is just very poorly managed and short staffed.

The room wasn't very clean, it looked like the room hadn't been used or cleaned in a very long time.

Not for anniversary surprise

The only time we saw a employee was when we checked in. We got to our room and right away we notice a huge tear in the cushion on the chair. There were burn marks in the restroom, and the tub looked like it had not been clean in weeks. Breakfast was cold sausage and biscuits u warmed up in the microwave, and cereal with no milk. Rang the bell for service and no one came out. Will not be making any reservations here anytime time soon.

No wifi!!!

Location: The location was fantastic!!!
Hotel was fully booked and the wifi could not keep up. Hotel staff told us that at check in!!!! Little things needed maintenance.......curtain rod was falling down, sink faucet was coming off....

Deteriotating

Hotel is not being kept and is fast deteriorating. Carpets are worn, drapes have holes in them. Receptionist was not to be found at checkout.

horrible

Check in was the worse waited over 30 mins to check in. No one at front desk, got keys to room asked for non smoking got a room that was so gross smelling, dirty, the ceiling had stains. No hot water. The pool was so dirty I thought we were playing in sand. The breakfast wow all the food was frozen. I can't believe the Wyndham a well known chain would put their name on this hotel. I will rather not go to Ruidoso if this is the only hotel with rooms

Outdated

Pros: Friendly late afternoon staff. Morning clerk is not too friendly.
Cons: Cleanliness.
Location: Easy to find.
This hotel is outdated and the room is not clean. The carpet is filthy. The milk that was served during the breakfast hours was spoiled. I will not stay here again.

Every thing was great and nice. Besides you could here people upstairs (loud) all night. And the shower ran out of hot water. And could not get breakfast because to many people and not enough stuff to make it.

Price Gouging!!

Cons: your price for the quality of hotel
Location: race track
This hotels price per night was outrageous!! We were charged $250.00 a night for a 1-2 star hotel!! This should not be acceptable by the town regardless of the weekend or events that are happening.

Very dated and filthy

Started out that the check in was very slow couldn't find my name then there it was and then said it wasn't payed for, had confirmation on my email. Then there was the hall ,it was so out dated I thought I was in the 80's. The room was filthy, had tobacco spit in the sink and a brown ring in the toliot, need I say more?
