Comfy beds & warm showers - but what a breakfast!!Posted Jul 7, 2015 on Hotels
Comfortable beds, nice shower, all the amenities we needed (little fridge, coffee maker, iron etc). What was really surprising though was the free breakfast - I'm talking scrambled eggs & made to order, pancakes, sausage, french toast biscuits & gravy!!! There were also the usual cereals, oatmeal toast, yogurt. Great coffee and a variety of juices. Comfortable dining area or go outside to patio and enjoy the absolutely beautiful grounds and scenery. There could be some cosmetic work done as this is not a brand new place, but we had warm showers and comfortable beds. No problems with the Wi-Fi either. I did think the reps at the front desk could have been a little more pleasant though. I would like to stay here again.

Cons: see previous comments
Location: great location
the hotel has great curb appeal but once inside the rooms a different story..... plaster was falling off the wall in the bathrooms.... the first night it felt like we had bed bugs... could not sleep ... wife had bug bite on leg the next morning. Not enough staff..... tv did not work in room... had to make three trips to front desk to get problem resolved. For the price they charge... this should be a 5 star hotel.... will not go back.

Great location. Wonderful staff. Beautiful lobby. Never could get an omelet because the cook was too busy cooking for the buffet. We have stayed here before and this was the first time this happened. Maintenance in rooms needs more attention. Broken light fixture by bed, toilet needed to be anchored better. It was not stable; i.e. rocked back and forth with the slightest touch. The tub could use some bleach in the corners of the surround. Even with these maintenance issues we would recommend because of the location and friendly staff.

Great Hotel!!!Posted Jun 23, 2015
The room I had had a beautiful view to the Golf course and deck. It had two true size queen beds. You even had a microwave, refrigerator, sink and cabinets in the room. And a desk. I felt like I was at home! The free continental breakfast was nice. You even had a Chef to cook you an omelette or over easy eggs at your desire.

Front desk unhelpful in giving us a King although hotel was nearly empty Water in shower smelled of sulfur, likely unused unit for weeks or months Breakfast buffet one of the least appetizing I have seen, most chains are better Cheap linens and uncomfortable pillows Nice setting on golf course Relieved to get out

Nice experience except for employee handlingPosted Jun 8, 2015
Good except for employee handling breakfast. I actually watched her put the biscuits out with her bare hands. No telling what she would do out of sight.

Terrible visit!Posted Apr 26, 2015
We contacted them ahead of time and we weren't informed that most tourist things were closed. The hotel was nice but the beds were hard as a rock. Also for the price of it we assumed there would be more to do than just a golf course. I don't imagine we will ever be doing this again.
