The staff was good and accommodating. The rooms are clean but the property was run down - slow drains, patched up doors, etc. If not too finicky, a good inexpensive place to sleep.

The photos on the website do not match the actual property or rooms. My a/c was falling off the wall. There was a big piece of the plastic broken off. Shower curtain rod was about to fall off the wall. Door between rooms looks like someone started to paint it and didn't finish or was just see the color of paint. Cable cords running over the floor tripping hazard. Smoke detector looks like it is 50 years old. Not sure it even works. Concrete sidewalks are crumbling. Wires hanging outside from building to building over breezeway. Looks terrible. Water valve going to toilet is corroded. I would never stay at this olace again nor would I suggest it to anyone. This place is a dump. Trash all over the place. The hot tub didn't work. Wyndham should shut this place down. It is giving Wyndham a bad reputation

Shower drain didn’t work
I spoke with the owner twice about the shower not draining. This is how well the shower drained AFTER they sent someone to fix it. The staff is super nice, but definitely not clean nor well maintained. Will not be returning again.

This Travelodge needs updating something terrible bathroom sink plugged people whatever coming back up it . There’s a real toe buster in room 139 as well. I just felt like I couldn’t touch anything in the bathroom. They waste money on one ply toilet paper so you have to use a bunch cause one ply sucks and you know it. Between KBOBS and Travelodge the property and trash is ugly…. The man up front at the desk was great when I checked in ☮️

NEVER EVER COME TO THIS TRASH PLACE! This place is the worst and the owners are nothing but scammers and know nothing about customer service. We arrived early and check in is at 3 well no problem, they gave us the key to the room and we waited. When it was time they wouldn’t open the doors, then my husband went to the office to let them know, they gave us a new key. As soon as my husband opened the door I said nope not going in there! The room was very very dirty so there were two women “checking the rooms” they didn’t even approach me or said hi, one employee had hickies all over her neck. Oh and let me not forget that I had my two babies my one year and 3 month old. They gave us another key and the room was clean we dropped our stuff off and went to the stores. When we went back, there were men acting sketchy, and I finally got to look around and I found cigarettes in the AC unit, mold in the restroom, there was blood on the walls. My husband moved the bed for my daughter and there was q-tips on the floor, and were super dirty. I made reservations for the Ruidoso Mountain Inn so much better for my babies and clean too, and it also felt safe. This place needs to be inspected big time. Seeing the people that hangout there and stay there are no good people. It seemed like nothing but junkies in that place. The “owners” are trash oh and the so called “free breakfast” was nothing but a box of cereal and a gallon of milk. I’m glad we left and got better service and good breakfast

We our girls with us, 16,13,7 yrs old. We left for about 1hr and they stayed in the room. When we came back, the girls informed us, someone was trying to open the door, yanking on the knobb and knocking hard, it scared them. During the night it sounded like someone was arguing or throwing things. The floor was nasty dirty 1 of my daughters dropped an item, when she picked back up it had dirt and hair on it. One of the pillows had blood on it. We were so uncomfortable. The girls girls also went over to the pool, the girls stated the railing was loose and the pool had so many cracks some kid had cut him self bad.

Was not given the option for the daily cleaning , which is done every 3 days . Floors were dirty and dusty when we entered the room, had a musky odor . Pool looked cloudy and unattended, sauna was covered with a tarp naking it unusable. Will never return and will not recommend. Property management spoke in their native tongue when we asked for someone to clean the room and refresh towels , making us uncomfortable not understanding what they were saying . We asked for a broom to sweep the room ourselves. They showed up to change the sheets and 2 clean towels . No one swept the room . Totally disappointed on this trip .

Room fairly standard but was clean and staff pleasant. I do think over priced for the room, but the area is all overpriced. The least expensive available at the time I booked , 2 days prior to arrival. Motel felt safe, and convenient to the town proper. I would stay here again.

Great for a one night stay
Great experience! Hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are modern and nice even tho the exterior building is old and looks worn down. It is very quiet and low key. Room overall was clean but the floors were dirty and so we didn’t walk around barefoot much!

First, I was placed in a handicap room, I do not need one nor did I request a handicap room and was told to park in front of my room. Legally cannot do this without a handicap tag. Second, trim piece was missing on top of bathroom door and the bathroom floor flooded every time the shower was used. Last thing, staff was not very friendly or welcoming. I felt my being there was an inconvenience.
