A rather large complex

Pros: The location easy access from the airport
Cons: Definitely provide free wifi for the duration of stay
Location: Have no idea I didn't do anything local spent days away in Kingston
Arrived about 9:30 pm because the car hire desk at the airport appears to have only 2 speed, enough said drove through torrential rain and was blinded by the headlights of almost all the oncoming vehicles I think the meaning of dipped headlights is wasted here. The check in experience was flawless I declined the porter services because I wanted to have the car near consequently got rather drenched in the process but hey the torrents were warm I felt sorry for the staff who toiled endlessly to keep the corridors free from rain water but it was still a precarious walk to the restaurant. A fantastic choice of food and drinks were present unfortunately I mostly ate salads and vegetables for the duration they were in abundance and fresh and tasty. I didn't try any of the speciality restaurants so I can't comment on those Overall I was very impressed with the staff where ever I encountered them and no hint of them seeking tips, even the gardeners were willing to get you coconuts from the trees without a frown or expectation Be prepared however to have to pay handsomely for wifi services it cost me around $80 us for 7 days of service I will definitely return one day hopefully will select a better time of the year when the weather is more favourable

So amazing

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay. The staff was so nice and amazing. The food and drinks were so great. I would definitely stay here again when I come back next year. I enjoyed the fact that everyone here made us feel welcome and took good care of us. The room had amazing view, we got the sea view and it was worth it.

Amazing Hotel, Beautiful Beaches, Friendly Staff

Pros: Very clean, very friendly staff. The restaurants had delicious food and the drinks were amazing. Nightclub had really good music. Overall really nice!
Cons: Everything was nice.
Location: Atv's, jet skiing, zip lining, waterfall jumps, museums.
Hotel is really nice. Had a wonderful time. Would definitely return.

My first time in Jamaica

The rooms are amazing and beautiful, pools, pools and more pools every time u turn there's another one. Restaurants are hard to book, I booked two days in advance and only one place was available for only 9 o clock for my 4 days stay. Yet you pass them and they are half empty and won't let you in without reservation. I Didn't like that because the buffet food was okay not amazing, desserts had no flavor and I tried most of them. Staff definitely needs to be more friendly. Yes they are always there asking if you need anything but no smiles, no enthusiasm, just so serious all the time. They won't even say goodmorning with a smile.

The resort was large and had a lot of beach. I was not happy with a restaurant reservation practices. We were there Tuesday - Sunday but were only allowed to eat at two of their fancier restaurants. Had to eat buffet every other night. I was not happy that there is only one place to eat for breakfast and two places for lunch. We had a few issues with one of our dinner reservations and it was a hassle to fix even though they made the mistake. The staff was friendly.

nice hotel far from the beach

Cons: house keeping staff very loud in the morning.they leave no clean towels in the room after its clean

Wonderful view

Pros: Location, beach, ability to snorkel off beach, plenty of shaded beach chairs.Food in buffet was good and liked that there was outdoor seating.
Cons: Correct sized bedding, availability of blanket. If tile and grout was sealed there wouldn't be a problem with mold and tile staining. WiFi in rooms.
Location: About 45 minute drive to airport. Close to luminous bay, several beaches, Blue hole and other excursions.
Hotel was close to the beach, room had wonderful view. Plenty of beach chairs and shade. Snorkeling off of beach was ok, saw lots of juvenile fish, a ray, and an eel but had to go out past roped off area to where water was clear. Room size was nice, seems to have been updated with nice tile in bathroom and appeared clean until you looked more closely. The grout lines (and some tile) in the shower had mold on them, and there was a sewer odor periodically. The bed sheets were much too small for the bed, to the extent that my feet were on the mattress itself as opposed to the sheet, and they used flat sheets on the bottom that were too small to stay tucked in on the sides too. The hotel was by no means full, but we were unable to get reservations for any of the restaurants during the 4 days we were there. The buffet was surprising very good, food had good seasoning and flavor and a nice variety with a theme section each night. Be aware that you can only get WiFi in lobby (which is always packed) unless you pay a hefty fee to have it in your room. There were kids in the adult only area of the pool, however they were very strict on nobody being on the empty luxury section of the beach (we missed the sign as we entered from the wrong way). It rained for 2 days straight which caused some staff to not make it in to work due to mud and rock slides but they did a good job of handling the shortage of workers.

Lots of beach, ocean access

Stayed here with our adult children. A la carte restaurants were not an option—within 1 hour of arrival, we attempted to make reservations and all were booked at all times. Ridiculous! Good thing the buffet was good enough. Beaches, chairs, grounds were very clean— beach bar staff— outstanding and friendly! Music on lobby veranda at night very good. Front desk staff unhelpful—especially when we needed something in our rooms. Hotel gym—adequate. Water sports—too small an area, pretty nonexistent.
