Summer vacation 2017

I like this chain of hotels..first time here at this hotel in Jamaics. Hotel grounds are beautiful and very well taken care of. It is a very largr resort..Lots pf walking. Very clean. Thr pools are also beautiful. My biggest disappointment was the beach. Not the usual white samd Caribbean beach...small rocky and on othet side of hotel...there is the pool side and beach side. Most of the staff were helpful and very friendly. The entertainment staff were great....friendly and kept the activities going The nightly shows were good but typical. The food was good. The buffet offered many choices..always something to eat. Thr restaurants were good....reservations needed. The rooms could use more light. The AC was good. If the price was right i would go back. I really like Jamaica. .all in all i had a great time!!

Wasn't very happy

Purchased a double bed junior suite. Received a king sized bed. Was told there was nothing they could do until next day because bedding is not guaranteed and whoever I booked my stay through should've told me that.

Overall it was a nice hotel, but the fact that we had to wait 4 hours just to get a room was horrible. The hotel it's self was satisfying, but the some of the staff members need a little attitude check. The way they were speaking you would of thought they were the ones on vacation and not at work. It's was a nice little 5 day vacations though.

A few problems at the hotel

Purchased an Ocean View room and got one on the first floor, with the view covered by restaurant tents. Problems with air conditioner on both, the first floor room and the 7th floor room We got after a room change. Quite often no cold water for the shower and/or toilet, looks like a water pressure problem. Beach, staff and restaurants were good.

The staff are rude and when asked for help they never help you. Never again.

Just don't, waited forever in a superhot lobby to check in. Front desk was clueless arrived at 2, got my room around 5:30. never gave me a crib, despite calling and emailing prior to arriving and asking upon arriving. All of the restaurants were fully reserved upon my arrival so I couldn't enjoy the food, was only able to eat at the buffet. Beach is nice only in one area. Pool is nice

Service has gone down

We stayed there 5 years ago and had a great experience this is why we booked here again. We have referred 8 different couples to this resort in the past who have stayed multiple times. We will NOT be referring or staying Ever again, and neither will the other people we have referred. We booked in March for July. Our son was 13 so he is an adult in price. We didn't have a bed for him and no beds were available. We were told several times a bed would be brought up. Never happened. Not to mention the water is scorching hot no towels, room not cleaned, no first aid kits ...we were told and not ginger ale on the resort...they ran out. Mix that with management who doesn't care and laughs at you when you ask for what you paid for...front desk staff telling you that you would be upgraded if it wasn't for your son being with you...on a family vacation!? Seriously? Disgusting behavior. If it wasn't for our bar tenders we knew from before Floyd and Everoy and a few wait staff and Kamisha one of the guest supervisors and the beach and the beach staff this vacation would have been terrible and we paid a lot. We stayed 10 days based on our previous stay. We loved this resort 5 years ago. I am in the service industry and I believe they have gotten too big and have not planned accordingly or done the responsible training needed. Straight up they don't care anymore because they are making money. Also beware of the face you have no internet outside of the loby unless you pay
