The main issue for everyone, including staff, was the worldwide epidemic. So we loved the few excursions available, the spa was awesome, and the pools and beaches were great. The room was comfortable and clean. The food options were limited and likely due to the epidemic. Otherwise we look forward to doing this again when there’s no worry about a health epidemic.

This resort was absolutely amazing. The food was so good that I was literally in a food coma every night by 9. The view and access to the sea was amazing. The pools, amenities, and staff were all great. I literally did not want to leave. The location is great about 30 minutes from many activities in and around Ocho Rios. I cannot wait to go back.

It’s a dated property everything is kind of wore out. There boats broke down every morning for my dives and the jetted tube in my room had been broken for awhile

We enjoyed our trip to Jewel Paradise Cove immensely. The venue was so beautiful and the beaches were lovely. We liked the smaller beach in the little cove. The food was very good with a good selection in the buffet. The rooms were a good size with a little balcony to sit outside. There were many lovely spots to sit and take in the views. We definitely want to return.

upon booking the resort I requested a pick up from Sangster international and I did not receive a reply until I arrived in Jamaica stating "we do not pick up from Kingston". Sangster is in Montego Bay so, that was weird. Jewel paradise cove is very outdated as far as decor is concerned. The rooms are basic and the balconies are small. The liquor options are bottom shelf, no straws upon request & they ran out of red stripe beer while I was there. The food is mediocre at best, I was looking forward to a traditional Jamaican breakfast and they did not meet my expectations. There is no WiFi service in my rooms which was a major issue for me because I am a student, with assignments due. I was given a modem which broke one day into my stay and no alternate option was provided. Day 2 The battery in the door lock died and I had to wait outside my room for 15-20 minutes before maintenance came to fix the issue. There are no elevators so be prepared to climb steps ... I was given a room on the 3rd floor. The beach is quite small and the service was less than exceptional. I was ten minutes late for the departure shuttle bus and it left me, no phone call to my room. The concierge told me it’s not their responsibility to call me.... woah what a lack of customer service! The bell hop did not retrieve my bags from my room hence my lateness. Needless to say the resort is definitely not worth the money and I Will not be returning !!!
