in town for funeral

Had driven in rain for 8 hours from Texas, exhausted & leg cramps. Went to indoor hot tub & pool and got relief. Went to my room and found the bed to be extremely comfortable. Very nice hotel with several restaurants within walking distance.

Nice place

Pros: Breakfast, clean hotel. Friendly staff
Cons: nothing
Location: Only there for a funeral so really didn't have a chance to check out nearby things to do.
I needed an overnight place to stay to attend a funeral. Everything was very nice. I am a minister. It was very nice that breakfast was included.

Nice hotel friendly staff. Quite facilitates

Clean quiet hotel, friendly staff. However mattresses are very firm and not very comfortable

Super nice and new hotel! Arrived late and check was quick but something went wrong with Expedia prebook but the hotel still let me chk in and would call in the morning to take care of the problem

Pros: Staff very accommodating!

Location: Restaurants close...
Provide adjoining rooms and a cot....we were ther for graduation.....good experience!

DREADFUL

Location: Catherine at the front desk informed me that I could not talk to her and her general manager the way I was talking.
I stay at Fairfield Inn and Suites all over the country. This is the first time I ever had a bad experience. I made my reservation well in advance. When I arrived, I was given room 104 with the general manager, Ms Nelson standing there. I had already unloaded my car and moved in before I realized that this was a handicap room. I had never thought to look into the bathroom. It was small and, in a word, crummy. Later I complained mildly and was offered a real room. Since I had driven seven hours to get here, I politely declined moving all my belongings once again. But the more I thought about it, the more I resented being given a handicap room. The next morning the housekeeping lady walked in on me without announcing that she was from housekeeping. I hastily got dressed and told her the room was ready for cleaning. An hour later I returned to the room and found it had not been cleaned. I finally had to complain to the general manager to get my room cleaned. The breakfast was good, served in a nice room, with the three garbage cans full to overflowing. The printed tv guide did not match the actual channels on the tv. The Kleenex dispenser in the bathroom was empty. The bed was too soft to the point of discomfort. I complained about my crummy handicap room to the general manager, Ms Nelson. She repeatedly offered to move me into a real room, seemingly indifferent to the fact that some guests don’t wish to move rooms in the middle of a two-day stay.

Nice hotel in a town with few options

Pros: Rooms are spacy, clean and quiet.(except for the a/c)
Cons: Pay attention to the fitness room and renovate the breakfast area.
Location: There are quite number of restaurants around (nothing fancy). The hotel is in a dry county. some limited exceptions exist..
The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast area had chairs with the fabric literally falling off. At 7:30 in the morning some of the breakfast items were no longer available. The exercise room did not have a sufficient number of cups for the users to drink the water they offer. The room is very small and gets very hot with three people working out. There are no cleaning supplies - spray and small towel - to clean the equipment the equipment after a sweaty workout.
