convenient to major travel routes.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: This facility needs a complete make over and clean up.
Toilet seat and lid were unacceptable - old, broken, stained and marred. Upon complaining to the desk clerk, we were offered and alternate room which was better. However, this motel is apparently older and has not been kept up. Drapes had holes in them and were not hung properly. The hair drier was cracked, dirty and had a build up of hair/lint in the nozzle - not something we would use. The floor was dirty in the corners behind furniture. There was a lack of electrical outlets in the room; one lamp did not work because there was no place to plug it in. There were no shelves or hooks in the shower room. This toilet did not have a lid so even that could not be used to keep towels and clothes off the floor. It seemed that every time we turned around we encountered another shortcoming. We would not stay here again.

I made this reservation based on the cost per night. I noted there would be 4 people in the room. We arrived and I realized we were paying for an extra person, which was ok until i discovered 2 towels. 2 towels for 4 people. I went to the front desk and was given more. I did tell her I didn't think I should have to seek out towels when my reservation clearly listed 4 people and I was paying for an extra person. I was a bit surprised to see the rooms were non refundable once the hotel swiped your card. I didn't remember seeing that in the information. I believe a continental breakfast was mentioned but didn't see sight of any food in the morning. We stayed 2 of the 4 nights.

Decent place for the price no ice machines were working at all and the computer system is not compatible with hotels com so you have to refill everything out.

Quick trip

My family arrives later than expected after watching Helen Keller play in nearby Tuscumbia. Check in was still pleasant and the lady behind the glass was nice enough to extend our check out an hour the next day. Room was clean.

Cons: See above
Grounds were dirty, rooms outdated and carpet was dirty. The ice maker on the entire grounds were not working. The clerk was not friendly or helpful. The reservations were not correct had confirmation for two rooms with king beds and only had one available. It was not a good experience and would recommend Expedia who you stated this hotel was rated a four..... not so.
