“Hauptvorteil: Lage. Zimmer war klein und sauber. Ausstattung sehr altbacken. Rezeption und Zugang zum Zimmer verwinkelt und nicht sehr einladend. Frühstück entspricht von Auswahl, Ambiente und Service max. 4 Sternen. ”

“Unser Zimmer war sauber, außerdem gut und komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut geschmeckt mit Optionen von light breakfast bis full breakfast. Bei schönem Wetter bietet der kleine Pool Liegen zur Entspannung. ”

“Die Unterkunft erfüllt alle Erwartungen und übertrifft diese sogar. Die Lage und der Blick sind fantastisch, die Deluxe Zimmer toll eingerichtet und weit mehr als nur geräumig. Ein super schöner Poolbereich lädt zum verweilen ein und das Personal ist unglaublich liebenswert und zuvorkommend. Einen kleinen Wehrmutstropfen stellt leider die Straße vor dem Anwesen dar, die doch recht laut ist. Nachts hört man allerdings nichts, so dass der Schlaf überhaupt nicht leidet. Alles in allem eine……

“Coming from the US and having heard all kinds of stories about SA, I will say this property is very safe and secure, with (free) gated parking. I had a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and had a patio area and kitchen. It was enormous. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and eager to share all the great things Stellenbosch has to offer. Laundry service is a plus and so is the location—walkable to any number of great restaurants and cafes. Great value as well. Highly recommended.”

“Unbelievable! And something quite special and different. Mindblowing views from each room and a private terrace to boot! We walked out from the lodge to 3 wineries. Lunch, dinner, wine tasting. (We didn’t have a car but uber was totally fine to get around) we went to stellenbosch and Franschhoek to do the wine tram. Could have easily stayed longer: Mountain View’s, sunsets, stargazing all part of the package. Incredible. Thank you Banhoek for a wonderful time x”

“Fantastic hotel in a great location in Stellenbosch within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Staff were a pleasure and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A real shame that there was major building work going on at the property next to this one as it did mean we couldn't really enjoy our balcony or the pool area as it was so noisy - it would have been good to have been advised of this in advance of the stay. Breakfast was delicious and overall we would recommend - if we were……

“The parking lot is relatively small and we were only able to park outside the main entrance for our stay! Our room has renovated, they were neat n clean ! Good breakfast too!”

“The room was really clean, spacious and had lots of amenities. The bathroom was lovely and the bed was very comfy. The hotel is in a good location within walking distance of lots of shops and restaurants”

“Gorgeous estate about an hour from Capetown. Top of the line amenities, lodging and excellent restaurants. Sunset views, vineyards and mountains. Staff was very well trained and no nickel and diming . Quiet and peaceful stay after a few hectic days in Capetown. Highly recommend. ”

“Der Pool war leider nicht nutzbar da recht klein, konstant ein Staubsauger eingelassen war und er nicht ganz sauber - das lag vermutlich eher an Mangel an Kenntnis wie man einen Pool korrekt reinigt. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und aufmerksam ”
