Mir hat der Service und der Komfort am meisten gefallen. Das einzige was war. die Matratze war zu weich.

No microwave, freeze. Air-conditioning not cooling enough.

Dear Hasan, thank you for your stay at hour hotel and your feedback on travelocity. We do highly appreciate this effort, since it gives us the chance to react and also, like in your case, to clarify certain things. As a 3 star superior Mercure Hotel we do not offer microwaves in our hotel but our business and privilege rooms are equipped with a mini fridge. The air condition is totally modernized and centrally controlled. Now we certainly do hope that upon your next visit in Saarbrücken, you will choose our Mercure Hotel Saarbrücken Süd again. Nice but not if you need air conditioning!

The hotel was nice however the air conditioning was not sufficient to cool the room. The pool wasn't clean and when I complained I was advised that the pool cleaning staff don't work on Saturday or Sunday and it was Sunday late afternoon. I do have to say that a member of staff then went out to clean the pool but by the time they were finished the pool wasn't in the sun and the moment was lost.

Dear Mercure guest, thank you for your stay and your feedback on hotels.com. Our air condition is modernized but centralized controlled. Therefore we will reach a high standard in changing the air in the whole hotel. We noticed your complains about our pool as you speak with our front office staff upon your arrival. Please note that we are cleaning our pool on a daily basis but as it is a outdoor pool surrounded by a natural garden we can not avoid that some leaves or gras could be on top of the water due to the wind. Sehr freundliches Personal. Es fehlten nur Sitzplätze im Außenbereich. Es gab zwar ein paar, aber dort konnte man keinen Platz mehr ergattern.

The staff was friendly when we arrived and was able to answer all our questions. English was fluent and there was no confusion. We had dinner at the hotel and it was very delicious and the prices were fair, the bartender was great company and quick to get refills and take orders. Parking was free and we believe the price was fair for the overall stay. Breakfast was expensive for a simple buffet, but that’s almost all of European hotels. We booked the hotel with the promise of AC and was told the facility controls it throughout the whole hotel themselves; it was cooler in the hallway than the room itself so we had to bring in our own fan just to feel comfortable enough to sleep. We enjoyed the cold temperature of the pool for it was very hot outside, however, it was full of leaves and bugs and the chairs were awkward to sit in and a little uncomfortable.

We highly appreciate your effort, since it is very important for us to receive your direct feedback on the things we do well, and others where we can improve. The AC is centralized controlled and the room temperature in the guest rooms may vary if the windows are not closed properly or the curtains are not closed. The outdoor pool is surround by garden and tree therefore we can not avoid leafs and bugs although the pool would be cleaned on a daily basis.
