"This place is perfect! Near all the nicest beaches, the unit was nice with everything we needed, pool was great, awesome views, super chill spot. Loved it."
"Our family enjoyed everything at the villa! We loved being away from the city and walking to the lighthouse,l and watamula hole. We loved enjoying coffee while watching the fisherman head out in the morning and spotted dolphins a few times! Having the pickleball court to play a few games in the morning was wonderful as was the bocce in the afternoon. Our girls (age 6) enjoyed the pool and games too. We rented a car and explored all the beaches and visited the Willemstad. We were very happy we were away from the busy city and could relax and enjoy quiet and nature. Chef Koen was wonderful and Gary and Michael were responsive and spectacular hosts during our stay."

"Nice property with easy access by car to the beach …but would have been nice to have access to pathway along golf course to walk to the beach which was closed. "
"Our stay at Westhill bungalows was very enjoyable! We had everything that 3 adults needed for a comfortable stay. AC in the bedrooms made for a good night's sleep and breakfasting on the deck looking out at the ocean was sublime. Maren was always responsive to my ?s while planning and made our trip seemless by helping with our truck rental from Alex. (Note: not all roads are smooth driving!) The dive tanks on site from the dive center. Maren also gave us helpful recommendations for places to visit, where to go and park while visiting Willemstad and even making dinner reservations for us at a great local restaurant called Isabell's Off the Beach. Our stay gave us an authentic feel for Curacao living, feeling happy to have spent 2 weeks, sad to leave."

"We traveled as a group of 7, with two adult couples and three boys ages 11-15. The layout of the house was perfect, with both adult couples having their own spaces separate from the kids. The kitchen was clean and well-appointed. We were able to cook meals easily with the gear provided.
I was worried about the lack of air conditioning in the main living areas, but it wasn't a problem. The weather on the island is ideal most parts of the day, allowing us to keep the windows and doors open. The ocean breeze kept bugs away, and we loved watching sunrises and sunsets from our porch. We loved living outdoors, but realized quickly that it was good to have plans for snorkeling or swimming during the hottest part of the day, late afternoon.
Location was close to attractions on the north side of the island, and we enjoyed snorkeling with turtles at Playa Grandi and general snorkeling at Playa Porto Marie. This part of the island is less developed than the southern parts, but we didn't feel like the drive to Willemstad or the southern attractions was all that cumbersome. Traffic was not an issue. Nearby restaurants and grocery stores were not very numerous, but they were fine for our needs. Our favorite restaurant meal was at Isabella's Off the Beach. There is a coffee shop, pizza place, and two restaurants within the resort area, and we ate at all of them during our stay. Karakter was a lovely setting for welcome breakfast and farewell dinner."
