Nice one night stay

Posted Mar 23, 2017
Room was clean and reasonable for the price. Main downside was being right next to the freeway although it was not as noisy as I anticipated. Missed ample breakfast they had set out.

Gymnastics Competition!

The hotel staff was great! They were friendly and helpful ..The breakfast is limited but quality was excellent. The only problem I had was the people above my room . I could hear loud foot steps above my room . Overall, I would recommend this hotel to my friends and Family . Great job

Good price for a last minute room

Posted Feb 22, 2017
We were on our way to Tahoe when bad weather turned us around. We needed a room late. Best Western was good for the price. The lobby is updated and clean, the front desk was efficient but not overly courteous. The room smelled of smoke despite being non smoking. There were only 2 bath towels, no face or hand towels. Disappointing.

Close to most things...

Posted Feb 20, 2017
Pros: In the middle of Rancho Cordova, so close to most things. Easy freeway access, not too crowded, restaurants in walking distance.
Cons: Additional parking would be nice.
Location: Just off freeway at Hwy 50 & Zinfandel exit
Room was nice. Check-in & check-out went smoothly. Microwave and mini-fridge were a nice touch. Bathroom was small, but usable.

Good hotel overall but smells bad

Posted Feb 16, 2017
The lobby and overall looks good in a good location, but our room smells like a mixture of pee and smoke and ... dk what that is. The heater smells pretty bad when it's running also.

Nice enough, ok price

Posted Jan 27, 2017
The hotel is a little tired but the rooms and dining areas have been refreshed. The elevator was not working. The breakfast was the usual waffle, English muffins, scrambled eggs and sausage on plastic plates. Bed was comfortable and bathroom had all it needed. I had called ahead at 8pm when I realized I was only going to get to the hotel at midnight, but once I arrived the night manager had no knowledge that I had called and my room had been given away. Evidently there was a large conference in town and all hotels were booked, so I was unable to find something close by after calling a number of places. After 20 mins or so the manager mentioned that she thought she may have a room become available as someone was not happy and was leaving. She disappeared for about another 30 mins and returned to tell me the room was available and ready for me (this at about 1am). I was grateful that she took the effort to get a room ready for me, but was frustrated that my room had been given away in the first place.

Pros: Security was very good. Internal stairways required key cards at each doorway. No access to hallways or walkways without card. Room was clean.
Cons: I think they have gotten everything right. Good level of amenities for the price!
This hotel is surrounded by more expensive hotels, providing an excellent value. Easy access to Hwy 50, with nearby dining choices.

Pros: Proximity to my family members. Breakfast options were good. Plenty of towels.
Cons: Make sure enough staff is available during the breakfast service, especially during a holiday weekend. It's not fun waiting for food to be cooked
The staff was very helpful with any questions or comments I had. It seemed staffing was short for the breakfast service on Sunday morning (1/15/17) . Only one woman worked the entire area of cooking, replenishing, & clean-up. She was doing a fantastic job considering she had no help and she kept her cool.

Housekeeping

Posted Jan 11, 2017
We stayed for two night, besides arriving to a clean room; the room was not cleaned during our stay. We had to get clean towels, toilet paper, trash bags and empty our own trash. Not impressed.
