Great hotel right off the freeway!

I've driven past this hotel hundreds of times and never stayed. We booked through Expedia with a killer rate, I was a little apprehensive due to some reviews I read saying it was an older hotel. My boyfriend and I were very pleasantly surprised. Not sure where the "older" part of the hotel was because the hotel we saw was modern, clean and renovated! Ricardo (the supervisor) checked us in, was so friendly and gave us a complimentary upgrade to a larger room! He was fantastic. The parking situation was great, large lot, well lit. My only slight issue (not even big enough to call an issue) the toilet in our room did seem to be on the older side, it ran for a lengthly time after flushing and the location of the elevators in the building was odd but nothing to dock any points! Great deal, great place, we will be back!

Pros: I like how there was a lot of thought in the design
Cons: I wasnt able to get a Frig and microwave in my room because they said there was a limited supply..I think all rooms should have microwaves a frig
Location: It very close to the freeway
I was disappointed that there was no frig and microwave for me and i had to sit the food i brought with me out and I had to throw is out because it went bad

Road Noise a Big Drawback

The hotel is right next to I-80 and the road noise in our room made it difficult to hear the tv and kept us awake until after midnight when traffic decreased somewhat.

Nice hotel between Roseville & Sacramento

My son and I stayed here for a weekend. Price was good, location perfect for us as we visited both Roseville and Sac during our trip. Staff was super friendly. We didn't partake in the $12 breakfast, we just walked up to the Starbucks instead. There's also a Panda Express near. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, shower had great water pressure. This was my second stay here and I will be back for sure.

Clean but noise

Room was clean Didnt smell like smoke bed was confy. But fot the price it was not worth the stay. The room given to me was the smallest noisiest ever. Could not sleep room was facing the freeway. Assuming this was the reason for a cheaper price than what they usually rent rooms for. Breakfast not included for little more We could of stayed at larskpur landing with breakfast included.

Bad customer service

Took 45 minutes to check us in and there wasn't even a line. After a long day, that is the last thing you want to do. Room was just okay, nothing incredible and the location wasn't that great either. For the price and the name, I expected more.

Be Cautious when booking the Crown Plaza in Sac!

Pros: Hard to find something nice when so many issues.
Cons: If the maids are doing there job and see a toilet doesnt flush then get it fixed. Unless they dont clean the toilet so no need to flush it.
Check it was pleasant, room seemed small but decent. None of the ice machines would work, vending machine broken, elevator closed, upon arrival in the room toilet didnt flush, called for someone to fix and a guy showed up within a few minutes. Guy came twice to get it to work and couldnt. Told us to wait 20 minutes and try again. Waited 20 minutes (now 1030PM) and still the same. Called back down and they wanted to send the guy back up. I refused and demanded a new room. Put on hold for another 20 mins. Hung up and got a different person who said he would call me right back. 30 minutes later he shows up to transfer us to a new room. New room was better and had a flushing toilet. Sink doesnt drain well. Light bulbs burned out. Key cards dont work. 8 AM in the morning the maids are trying to get into the room to clean. Hot tub is brown and out of order. This place is a nightmare. I would consider staying at a motel 6 over this place because its half the price and probably in the same condition.

There is no excuse we could give you for the conditions you describe. A room without a working toilet should, obviously, never be rented. The delays in either getting it fixed or finding you another room were not what we would expect nor accept from our staff. I was im room 110. Door between rooms, horrible lock. Coffee bad taste. Tired and overworked staff.
