Place to Sleep

Posted Jan 19, 2016
*staff would not give us 2 extra pillows, the pillows already in the room were very sad, they gave us 1. *fitted sheet was not used on the bed, and the flat sheet on the bed was coming off *was raining outside, there was a mat outside the door, but we still tramped water inside the room. Needed a mat inside to dry our feet, ended up using the bathmate at the front of the door *we were bottom floor, the person above us was literally up all night. walking around their room. kept me awake for a long time. *there was a large gap in the door jam. *we used the free breakfast. The milk at first was sour.... we asked them to replace it which they did. Our room was clean, the appliances did work, tv, microwave, mini-fridge. The shower was hot but took forever to warm up, like 5 min+. Water pressure sucked. They do allow pets in smoking rooms. Was supposed to be only $6 charge, actual charge was closer to $8.

I will recommend it it's not bad. The only thing was that there was not much parking.

Nice hotel for a night stay close to the Capital

Posted Dec 7, 2015
Pros: Clean room
Cons: the smell of the room
Location: the location is perfect, close to the Capital and walking distance from restaurants
The room was really clean, no stains on the sheets or comforters, but the room had a strong potent smell. It is hard to describe it but the minute you walk in, it would take over your nostrils. Other than that it was ok for the night. Also, the next day when I got home my clothes smelled like that weird odor...

Close to the Convention Center

Posted Oct 10, 2015
Pros: The price was right and it proximity to the Convention Center was just right.
Cons: The coffee at the continental was not hot enough.
Location: Easy acces to dine and attend the convention.
The hotel was close enough to the Convention Center that you could walk leaving your car in the lot for free parking. The room was clean and it was quiet. Room had a good working air conditioner. Because of the affordability of the stay and the fact that there was a concert going on on Friday the parking lot was very full and the population of people staying on Friday was not what I expected. I was surprised that everything was quiet. The bed was comfortable and clean.
