Roughing it is staying at the Holiday Inn

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Mixed up our reservation. Breakfast voucher depended on how you booked (really!!). Elevator broke down. Bathroom is on the second floor. My husband had to use the loo and it was being cleaned, he was told the other one was on the 16th floor. the outside pol was small but nice. Only fun part of our stay

Good Hotel Near Old Sacramento

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Pros: Clean, well maintained, very straight forward....
Cons: Quieter aircon
Location: The location is about 2 min walk from Old Sacramento with good variety of restaurants and activities.
The only detraction was the "old style" aircon that was a bit noisy and hard to adjust for the right temperature while sleeping. Other than that, all was excellent. The location is about 2 min walk from Old Sacramento which means access to a good variety of restaurants. As of August 2015, they are still in a process of constructing the mall and there aren't many places to eat and Rite Aid (for some supplies) is a few blocks away (10~15min walk).

Hotel in der Nähe von Old Sacramento

Posted Aug 2, 2015

Very Pleasant Stay

Posted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: Location, ease of parking, friendly and polite hotel and valet parking staff.
Cons: refrigerator in room.
Location: Old Sacramento is so close we were able to have a nice lunch including wine and walk back to hotel.
Everything from the hotel and valet staff to the comfort of the room were wonderful. I would definitely go back.

The base of the toilet in the room was filthy. Food debris left over from previous guest on floor. Walls are thin. We could hear EVERYTHING the neighbor said. Check in was quick. Vincent was wonderful. The staff in the coffee shop were great. I would spend the additional $50-75 to stay elsewhere.

Good bargain for Sacramento

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: Location was great - walking distance to Old Sacramento and easy shopping next door. Staff was very helpful in providing for our needs.
Cons: We had a room with two double beds - one of them badly needs replacement, and the bathtub drained very slowly. More attention to details needed.
Location: Couple of minute walk to Old Sacramento, easy shopping at the mall next door, easy access from the freeway, and parking lot right next door.
While the bed needed replacement and the overall appearance of the room was a bit dingy, the place was clean, the staff was very helpful, and parking was cheap.
