Nice motel that could easily be great

Posted Aug 10, 2017
Pros: Cleanliness of room
Cons: fix the dresser drawers so they ALL OPEN & get a longer cable cord for the TV so it can be turned.
Location: Right off the freeway and across Scandia fun center. In N Out next door & Panda Express & IHOP across the street. Bowling alley close by also.
Nice place to stay. Room was very clean, including the carpet. Nice flat screen TV but even though it was on a swivel base the cable only allowed it to point one way or else it fell out of the wall. There were 3 of us so we were excited about having 6 drawers BUT only 3 would open!! Stayed 3 days but only got 1 room clean up with new towels. Staff was very friendly and responsive when we ran out of toilet paper & had problems keeping the TV on. In room frig had 2 additional outlets which was great since we had lots of electronics to charge. Breakfast was definitely "continental" with no eggs or meat but good waffles! The weekly hours for breakfast were very early with it ending at 9:00! Pool was nice size & large but no pool towels. Beds were VERY comfortable & wall air conditioner worked great!

Lupe- Thank you for taking the time out to share your experience with us. I am glad to hear you enjoyed your room , comfy beds, and our friendly staff, but I am sorry to hear the dresser was not working properly and the TV cord was not long enough. I will be sure to have our maintenance team check and repair both of these issues immediately. I will follow up with the housekeeping team as well to see why cleaning service was not included each day like it should have been. I will also share your comments in my team huddle, as it is with our guest's feedback that we are able to continue to grow and create an even better guest experience. Once again I appreciate your time, and hope to see you back soon. Here for you, Shane M. - General Manager

NOT "North Sacramento" - more like Sacra-ghetto

Posted Jul 31, 2017
Pros: staff
Cons: Call in an airstrike?
Location: In-n-out dinner and watch the local talent...
Where do I start? GREAT STAFF. Updated rooms... all good. Location is scary at best. You are next to In-n-out (good thing and bad thing)... open until 1am? Lots of noise, smokers, crack heads, beggers.... gnarly. A few sirens through the night as well as a overly-loud car/music at 3am with guest screaming "STFU" at them. Just a cluster of noise, lights, etc... I feel bad for this location as the staff is excellent and they are trying to clean this place up, but we got little sleep and realized somethings are just unable to be fixed (location) -- it is in no way "north sacramento"... it's a side of the freeway zoo.

Didn't experience any problems. Room was clean and spacious. Nice pool, breakfast a little chaotic, but fine. Perfectly fine overall.

Rooms look nice, but a lot of riffraff in the area

Posted Jul 16, 2017
Convenient to I-80, rooms were recently remodeled. However, despite roving security, I didn't feel safe and constantly worried that our pickup would get broken into. Saw a guy on a BMX roving around that didn't look like he was staying there. Rooms are more like a motel, with doors to the outside instead of an interior hallway. Rooms adjoin to room behind you, not room next to you. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at.

Posted Jun 21, 2017
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: So many issues at this place I would never stay again.
Location: A Dennys, Starbucks, and In-n-Out
I was so upset with the quality of this hotel, These are all the issues I had with this hotel: -When we walked in the smell of smoke filled the room -Pieces of dog food were left on the floor -The bathroom was digusting I touched the door nob and it was all sticky and could not get it off my hands. - We also had two large moths in our room -I called the front desk no one answered I wanted to leave in the middle of the night but I had no other place to stay and had to wake up at 6 in the morning.

Wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy

Posted Jun 6, 2017
After driving for 13 hours all I wanted to do was get some sleep. This hotel is surrounded by crack heads. The hot tub had no water in it and the pool was freezing cold and dirty. My room had a busted door which wouldn't shut all the way so I could hear everything from the outside very clearly. The toilet was broken. The bed sheets had what looked like blood and other stains, so did the floors and walls. I have never left a hotel so quickly. When the staff printed my cancellation form it was very unclear so I couldn't see all the details and was worried I wouldn't get my money back. I had a bad feeling about it starting from the time I checked in. The staff were letting me know about some of the things that are broken at the hotel. At least they were being honest, and I can't blame the front desk for the horrible management.

Hotel room smelled like dog pee

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: convenient location and decent price
Cons: Room could be freshened up
Hotel was in a good location and a decent price. Breakfast was good. Was disappointed with the room; room was stuffy and smelled like a dog had peed in it. Hotel is pet friendly so maybe that had happened.

got stuck in the elevator for nearly an hour.

Posted Jun 2, 2017
Cons: maintenance and general upkeep needs improving
Didn't have my phone on me because I was just going to run down to my car and then back to my room. I took the stairs down but decided to ride the elevator back up to the 3rd floor. Stepped into the elevator pushed the button and the door closed. Then nothing. The door wouldn't open back up and the elevator wouldn't move. Pushed the emergency button and the button came out of the wall!!! Banged on the door for 20 min luckily a very nice woman heard the banging and informed the front desk that someone was trapped in the elevator. They called a tech to come out. My husband went to the front desk to ask about what was being done and then he was told the tech was 30 mins away and if he didn't want to wait for the tech he could call the fire department. Fire department got the doors open
