Booked this property over a month ago. My room was for a handicap person which I am not and didn't book a handicap room. Beds were so low to the ground mattress kept shifting off so you would hit your leg on the metal bed frame when walking by. Why would they place me in a handicap?? Not happy. Arlelen Moyer

The Good and the Bad. Good: Staff was Amazing. Very Friendly and helpful. Convenient to Old Town. Bad: Bed was firm and old. Walls in hallways looked like a lifeless dorm. Paid for an extra night at a different hotel for a more comfortable bed. This place WAS the place to be…20 years ago. Needs a serious remodel.

The sheets were stained with blood. It was very disturbing and I will never stay at that place. Please give me my money back. I emailed management about this issue.

While we can acknowledge how alarming this may have been, it is impossible for us to correct an issue when we are not informed of it when it is discovered. Had you immediately reached out to the front desk rather than telling us after check out, we would have been more than happy to replace the mattress pad cover, or even upgraded you. Furthermore, it was determined to be a coffee stain, and we did dispose of the cover once we were made aware.

The area was great for walking to bars and restaurants. They only clean the room once every 3 days which was not good considering they only have one small garbage can in the room.

Thank you for your feedback. I agree, we have a fantastic location here in the Historic District! While cleanliness is our top priority, we do take our impact on the environment very seriously, hence the reduction of daily housekeeping service to once every three nights. Guests are always welcome to request service, or at the very least a refresh to remove excess trash, soiled towels, replenish coffee, etc. We do also inform our guests upon arrival, as well as placing written notices at the front desk and in the guest rooms. We hope you’ll have a chance to come back soon.

It was clean and nice, too much noise from an outside building that was having a party, when you closed window and turned on the air, you could not hear it.

No view of the lake from the hotel, too bad. Quiet, clean, nothing to complain about. Very close to old town Folsom. Nice walking trails by the lake. Better than many mediocre hotels in poor locations. Food in restaurant ok, nothing special.

Staff were very responsive and respectful when I asked them for assistance bringing in my luggage and other belongings when I arrived and then when I checked out. Rates were reasonable, the facility immaculate located in historic Folsom on the river. I will return.

My beautiful city view was a roof, let them know it was my birthday and 26 Anniversary celebration both girls looked at each other and didn’t say anything. Asked for upgrade since Ashley said to ask when I get there and the girls said you’ll pay for it. I said it’s ok they then put me in a room with the inside lock broken paint on window mold under soap dish view of the roof and get this they said your here 3 days you don’t get maid service wow ran out of stuff and had to go down and get. They don’t tell but the food isn’t always available the restaurant is CLOSED Certain days. Just be careful I spent over $400 it really bummed us out thinking it would be special. The only thing that was great was the bar tender he was so nice welcoming unlike check in!! Ps drunk people yelling thru hallways and 2 fights they had to call police. Nightmare!!!!!

While we would ideally always be able to upgrade guests for their special occasions, it simply isn't always possible to do so without an upgrade fee. If there were issues with your room we would have been more than happy to address them had the front desk been informed. We do also notify guests upon arrival that we do not perform daily housekeeping, but should you require additional amenities we will gladly bring them to you. If you would like to discuss your stay further please reach out to me directly.

Best location - easy hike walk run bike trail right there. Great downtown close, ez transit with electric van, even in rain. Hotel is run-down, needs mass renovation. Room dark, bathroom very dark, no fan in bathroom. No cleaning service for 2 night stay.

We saw this property being built (many years ago) - we were looking forward to coming back but were disappointed with the properties overall condition. We are use to at least a continental breakfast - they didn't even offer complemental coffee. They are going on the CHEAP
