A little over priced for what you get

Posted Sep 14, 2017
The elevator was located too far from where you check in. It was located at the back of the hotel which was down two hallways and around the corner. There was a few things with the room that need to be changed. Room 404 the bathroom tub was not clean it had hair in it. Also the tub itself looked like it was painted and the paint was coming off around the drain. The room A/C... wait, there wasn't any. There is a vent you can open up to what the lobby temp is. You can't set the temperature on it so i roasted during the night. The breakfast the next morning consisted of waffle, cereal and muffins. I would have expected more for the price of the hotel.

Avoid if you want to be safe!

Posted Sep 10, 2017
This hotel is extremely run down with dirty, stained carpets, old hard beds, stained ceilings and a strong cigarette smell throughout the whole building. We reluctantly checked-in , and later that day we learned there was a shooting/murder at that location a week prior. After hearing this news and seeing a few crackheads around the building, we immediately checked out and found a much better place to stay. We asked for a refund , however have not received and I think I just wasted some money.. lesson learned!

Great spot other than not too much around as far as restaurants, shopping, etc...

Needs updating

Posted Sep 6, 2017
Needs updating The A.C. unit is so old it rattled while on and there was no control other than a fan speed. They A.C. did not work that well and box fans were brought up to the Suite. It did help with getting air circulated in the rooms. Continental Breakfast consisted of pastries, cereal and waffles. It would have been nice to have some sort of meat & eggs included in the breakfast. The pricing was good for the stay. Parking was limited. The elevators are what horror stories are made from. Tiny, cramped, hot and slow.

Not happy with our stay

Posted Aug 19, 2017
To begin with, the hotel is not in a great area. There are a lot of strange people hangin around the hotel. The security guard was arguing with someone in front of the entrance. He did not look professional at all. Rooms were not up to par. Sheets were wrinkled, dirty carpets, the headboards and walls were smeared. The hallway to our room smelled like Raid Spray. If we weren't in such a time crunch, we would have switched hotels. Also, the AC unit sucked! Our room was hot and humid the whole time even though we had it set at the lowest degrees. We had to go to the front and ask for another room but they said they all have the same AC unit, so they gave us a fan. When we first came in to the room and I used the restroom, it smelled like urine. I couldn't even sit in the toilet as I couldn't trust that it was properly cleaned. In the morning, I tried to go grab breakfast and the bagels were rock hard. I threw two of them away in an hopes the second one would be better. You couldn't even cut through if. Then, I try to get a banana and they were all brown and spotty. Also, the spot where they had all the plates and utensils is inconvenient as people sit there and we had to continue to reach over them to get a napkin, silverware or plate. Overall, it was a terrible experience. I'm not one who complains but our experience at the Ramada in Sacramento was horrible. It's dirty, old, and staff could be a little more professional to provide better customer service.
