Did not like having to pay $30 to park, pool was empty--should have been told about this at check in. Tried to get room close to my son's (he checked in at same time), that didn't work either, my room on 19 th floor and his on the 6 th.
There were a few issues with my stay this time. I got a email saying that we could check in early. So I responded yes and that I would check in by noon. We get there at 1 and the front desk says they don’t have the room I reserved. Only a 2 queen room. So we unhappily accepted it after complaining for a couple minutes. We then got changed into our swimming suits and went to the pool. It was empty. No water at all. Not cool at all.
The shower in the room had no soap in dispensers. And also, parking is across the street in a garage that charges $25 per night.
I love the location of the hotel for restaurants, breweries and concert venues.
Nice room to stay for a work event. Didn’t like that the bedding was all separate layers of sheets, rather than duvet with cover. Got bunched up in the night. But other than that, a great stay.
A convenient hotel for downtown Sacramento, close to the Capitol buildings. Parking will cost $30 per day and is a short walk across the street. Clean room, and on the 24th floor it was nice and quiet. No morning breakfast though.

Extremely overpriced for a very average room. The room was comparable to a Holiday Inn Express but we paid a luxury hotel rate! We selected this hotel because of the proximity to downtown restaurants and attractions. If we had to do it again we would rent a car and drive into the downtown area. Our rooms were VERY overpriced. In addition, the area surrounding the hotel felt very unsafe after dark.
Love it will stay again, best thing was the female front desks people and a make waiter at night, he was tipped well because he was amazing, I really mean it.
I enjoyed my room on the 6th floor of this hotel, very pleasant room design. The main lobby feels pleasant and welcoming. Easy acces to good restaurants and downtown touristic places like the Capitol, the Stanford Mansion and the main cathedral.
Love the quick chk in
and the location . Very close to convention center .
Staffs very nice .The place is in downtown which is so convenient .
AYCE Breakfast was great

Very bad customer service
I booked a king size bed and they gave me queen size bed because I’m not a member of marriott bonvoy.
Our room was simple, clean, and very quiet. The bed was comfortable. The employees very welcoming and were able to answer any questions. The restaurant was excellent.
The staff was very friendly… the hotel rooms are DATED and kinda ugly.
Gym was very clean and nice.
The area at night had bums EVERYWHERE but during the day was quite nice, lots of restaurants near by. Just be back before sundown

valet parking.
bathroom lacked a bar of soap, only dispensable soap.
Sitting Chair in room was totally fatigued and dirty.
Window seat pad stained and dirty. The final price for this room with parking was $490-. As a business owner I would be embarrassed with the overall product.
Took 60 minutes to be checked in on a random Thursday at 3 pm. Check in time is 3, they didn’t have anyone’s rooms ready until 4:30-5. I asked if we could at least check our bags to be checked while we walked around town and he “wasn’t sure” where that could occur. Pretty much the opposite of what I would expect for a midrange hotel like this. Check out other nearby options unless you have extra hours to kill for every step of the process.
This property was nice but the homeless community is very strong in the surrounding area. Use the key card to get up in the elevator for increased safety.
