Worst experience ever!

Posted Oct 28, 2016
Pros: The only redeeming factor was the wireless Internet.
Location: I was a participant at a convention, so that was the only location that interested me.
When I arrived, the bathroom was filthy. During the evening a prostitute knocked on my door. The advertisement was for a continental breakfast; however there was no breakfast only a semblance of what might be called coffee.

Good deal for the price

Posted Oct 25, 2016
Pros: All in all the hotel was cozy, had clean sheets and fresh towels every day.
Cons: The two things I did not care for was the random appearance of spiders without any window open, but not much can be done about that.. the second thing was that the hot water and cold water pipes were backwards and we were not aware of it till after the second day. Also, breakfast is just a wrapped pastry so don't expect anything fancy.
Location: We stayed here for the Aftershock concert but we also went to a lot of good restaurants in the Downtown area, the Sacramento Zoo and theatre.

Convenient Location/Wonderful Staff

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Pros: The convenient location & the professional Staff.
Cons: No.
Location: As I was not in Sacramento as a "typical tourist", I did not take in any sights.
I was in Sacramento for a short stay to visit my Mother in Hospice. A sad time, but the Staff was very congenial & very professional.

Dive

Posted Sep 22, 2016
Pros: It was on the cheaper end
Cons: Build a new hotel
Location: Food nearby
Old and run down, bad neighborhood. We asked the front desk if there was a pizza place within walking distance and they said, "I wouldn't do that."

Wonderful staff

Posted Sep 4, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Staff was incredibly understanding, polite, helpful and accommodating. The woman at the front desk was lovely.
Cons: Vent that smelled of urine, note: This is through NO FAULT of the management or hotel. I would not consider it to be something against the services.
Location: N/A
My partner and I reserved a room here at the last minute after spending an entire day moving out of our apartment on the fourth floor. We were exhausted and ready to drop. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind and upgraded our queen bed smoking room (the only thing listed as available online) to a small non-smoking suite with a kitchenette after someone cancelled. It was a wonderful gesture that was appreciated. Everything was neat, spacious and clean, albeit a bit old but we were quite happy with it. The room, however, smelled like stale old urine layered with strongly sweet cleaning agent. The bathroom had been thoroughly cleaned, so we were a bit puzzled. My partner eventually followed the smell to a non-AC vent-thing sticking out of the side of the wall. We could only guess that some previous renter had too wild of a party and managed to mark his or her temporary territory. Since the grated vent was right next to the bathroom door, it's completely understandable that cleaning services would have mistaken the source for the toilet instead. The vent itself looked rather complicated and difficult to take apart to clean. We eventually got used to the smell and fell instantly asleep. The next morning, we overslept and woke about ten minutes before the checkout time. Once again, the lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and understanding. We were given an additional 30 minutes to depart after grabbing some complimentary orange juice and pastries.

This is a basic "old-fashioned" motel, my favorite

Posted Aug 12, 2016
Cons: There is no fan or window in the bathroom, so...
My room was complete with a kitchenette, stove and refrigerator, Cable TV and wi-fi, and plenty big for a couple for a reasonable price. Plan to pay a quarter for ice. I really like being able to park right in front of my room, and it's a reasonably quite part of town.
