Less then Expected for the Price

The hotel's entrance has a grand appearance however the line that was out the door for people waiting to get checked it took away from the initial experience and it did not get any better. When we finally got to check in at 5pm and they said "Sorry were running behind, your room will not be ready for at least another hour." No curtesy drink, no curtesy water, no curtesy upgrade, noda, zilch. We will call you when a room is ready.
When We finally did get our room one hour latter it was as clean. The carpet looked a bit old maybe a good carpet cleaning more often would help. They allow dogs to stay for free so I'm sure if you used a black light on the carpet you could find some unwanted accidents. The beds were comfortable. Windows fully open up for fresh air so I would be careful if you have young children with you.
Maybe it's just me but I would expect at least the first bottled water in our room to be free especially after all the headache of having to wait to get our room. Each bottled of water is $3.00, I ordered two beers and paid $22.00. The toilet water ran so you have to giggle the handle.
Overall just frustrated with the bad management overpriced @$215.00 a night and I wished I had booked a room at the Marriott instead.
