When I arrive at the property, the person at the front desk told us that I room is not ready and the booking has been cancelled. Also told us that Expedia should have informed you about the cancellation and also told me that I should have booked directly from the hotel's website. When I pushed back, they said they can put me in a 2 queen bed room and they will not charge me extra. I booked a 2 bedroom suite, the person at the front desk do not know the difference between a standard room and 2 bed room suite. But pushed hard and magically a 2 bed room suite showed up and we were accommodated. But this was a very bad experience and total lack of responsibility at the front desk was very disappointing.

I view TownePlace, courtyard, springhill, fairfield, etc. to be much better than Quality, Comfort, bestwestern, etc. But it's not the case for this property. The cooridors and room have this faint foul smell of old carpet, old clothes, or tobacco smoke. I was surprised to see ONE QUEEN bed rather than a king bed, and the included breakfast is very not delightful as there as minimal items provided.

1. Ridiculously stuffy and hot in the room even though it was cool/cold outside. Fan did not work. Maintenance came and worked on it for 20 min just to say it’s disconnected and they don’t know how to reconnect it. 2. Housekeeping did not replenish toilet paper. Walked downstairs to ask for some and was took housekeeping will bring it up. About an HOUR later, someone brought toilet paper. 15 minutes after that, maintenance came up and said they were there to fix a clogged toilet. We didn’t have a clogged toilet. 3. It is very dated. No USB outlets. Was not prepared for that so had to go buy USB power strip since I only brought 1 brick charger.
