Awful experience and even worse customer service..

I understand that working on a holiday isn't always pleasant, however, if you do happen to be working and in the hospitality business, you should be just that, hospitable. The room was dirty and multiple things broken, with a sleepless night to follow. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk AND Expedia, we were told there was nothing they could do, because it's Christmas and there is no manager. Night 2, after having the people above us playing what sounded like tackle football (again), keeping us up from 8pm until 6am both nights, I went to the front counter to make a noise complaint. They did call the room above, who then blamed the floor above them. Nothing was done, and I'm sorry, I'm not going to hear the 3rd floor from the main floor. We asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere and were told they couldn't do anything, because again there was no manager. We were then told that once one was available, they would be in contact with us to discuss our terrible experience. It's Wednesday, still nothing. Angry at the wasted hard earned money of mine, I will never use choice hotels or Expedia in the future. This experience has tarnished both reputations.

Please accept my apologies I was not made aware of this situation during or after your stay. I did look into our log books and nothing was reflected as being reported by our team. Again my apologies. If I had known this would have been handled differently.
